I am curious about something. I frequently search on EROS and it seems that 75 percent of the transsexuals listed are black, hispanic, Asian, or mixed. I doubt that 75% of all transsexuals or all transsexual sex workers are non-white. Why do you think the percenatge is so disproportionate to the general populations?
And before anyone makes this a politically correct issue, I am just curious about something that stands out. I have no racial biases. I would be just as curious if 75-80% of all ads were for Caucasions, or blondes, or left handed escorts.

I remember reading a few studies done on TS escorts in general, and there is a common thread of them being treated as social outcasts, pushed out of jobs, losing the family ties and connections to friends etc. Minorities are already at a disadvantage because of racism, and as a result its widely known that they are paid less for the same job than whites, and have less money as a result, and so on.

Once you add the social, family and employment problems associated with being a TS, on top of the racism they face being a minority, it is often too much to handle at once, and they become the first to fall of the straight and narrow path in order to make a living, pay for their surgery, etc. The stress often drives them to drugs as well, and escorting becomes a way to support their habit.

Whites dont have to deal with the racism part, so relatively fewer of them will be forced into escorting. They have a slightly easier time trying to make a go of their life and job, and making money in general, paying rent, etc. Its a little easier for them to fit into a white dominated society. Some white families and friends might be a little more understanding than minority family and friends. etc.

Each of these factors make it a little easier for white TS's to stay out of escorting, but added together, it leads to a wide disparity in the racial makeup of TS escorts.

I'm agree with you in 90%, but, let me tell you that there just few American TS's in this world, America has a lot of very nice drag queens, a lot of very handsome gays, some tv's and few TS's, and about the racism there many black, latin and asian  people who has great jobs.

And please don't forget the Europeans are white too, sometimes few European TS's visit US for a short time.

Also about ethnicity some people confuse the mean caucasian with american, because I am from Europe and we call us caucasian too.

So caucasian means white, am I right?

What about someone with dark skin who was born in America, how do call this person?
