Do flea bag hotels all buy their bedspreads from the same company?  :)

Did you know that they don't wash them too often?  :)

I wouldn't know.  I don't stay in cheap hotels.

A few years ago I saw a TV show where they went in to different hotel rooms with one of those black lights that cops use to find blood.  Well, apparently, the lights will make any bodily fluid glow.  The sheets in each room were clean, but the bedspreads were glowing like neon under the black light.

I bet...I have some friends who pull the bed cover, comforter, beadspread off the bed first thing and throw it in a closet they plan not to use.  Yep, I bet they are dirty.  I know so many people, not even related to escorting, who get a double bed hotel room, have the field day on one and sleep in the other.  In my experience with providers who have two beds, I've walked into the room, sat on a bed and they say....no, not that one, we will have fun on the other bed :) I'm sure they want to sleep in clean sheets :) I would as well.

Yes, I agree with you Dog.  When I was traveling a lot we would do exactly what you said.  Take a double room and play on one bed and sleep in the other, or usually we'd take a suite and the first thing I'd do after our days fun was over was call housekeeping and tell them we spilled something on the bed and get the comforter and sheets replaced.

And give the maid a nice tip, since she surely knew what was up.  LOL

In a lifetime I've never seen a hotel maid take the old bed spread and replace it with a new folded one when cleaning a room.  Never.

I've seriously considered just bringing my own sheets and blankets, at least on road trips.

TS Jamie :-)
