This guy's name was B-------. (Apparently, I'm not even allowed to post even his first name because...well, I don't know why. I guess he may be confused with the millions of other B----- there are.)  I'd post his # if I could. I already reported it to the National Escorts Blacklist. He literally bailed less than 100 feet from my incall, while I was directing him in. One moment he's lost and spectacularly bad at directions, the next he's jumped in his car and refuses to answer the phone. Just a stupid text message: "I'm sorry but I'm not getting a good vibe from you. Don't think it's going to work out. I'm sorry for wasting your time."

I begged. I pleaded. Several text messages. But there's no stopping a scared bunny from ruining your life, is there?
 
He literally cost me another appointment, as well as his. The power at my incall will be shut off tomorrow because of it. What am I supposed to do? Should I track him down and find out his identity? What do you do when a client literally ruins your life just by being a complete douche?

No shows, I hear, are part of the game.  Guess you just have to accept it.  Is it more prevalent with 'first timers / newbies'?  Perhaps they cannot determine their emotional willingness to get naked with a pre-op TS until actually beginning the process of hooking up.  Then they may bail out if the cognitive dissonance combined with the frustration of getting directions, or your tone of voice betrays exasperation with his inability to follow them, becomes too traumatic.  Just a guess.

But, it is part of the game. I imagine that it happens pretty regularly with TS girls and first timers. They think they have the nerve and then lose it. I don't have a lot of respect for people that don't have guts. If you want something, go fucking get it. I don't blame you for being disgusted.

Even the best clients do cancel though. I've cancelled before, and I'm pretty awesome. Plenty of girls have cancelled on me. Imagine how annoying it is for us when we take a little blue pill, drive an hour, wait for 30 minutes in front of a hotel only to get told no, and with a pocketful of cash to boot! Now we have a boner and no girl. It sucks! I've had to masturbate in my back seat to avoid priapism.  

On another note, don't track him down. That makes you sound cra-cra! Honestly, just let it go. There will be more clients that won't wuss out. And also, you may want to start a savings account. I mean, getting the power turned off because one client bails? That sounds a tad irresponsible.

Sure it seems "irresponsible"...but you need to have some context. The economy is still not doing well by any means. While "regular girls" can still make enough to cover expenses, it's very hard for providers on the "fringe" like me to make ends meet. TS providers are simply dealing with a much smaller demographic than "regular girls"...it's about 1/20th the size, by my estimates. I can't travel anymore - I used to do it a lot - but I watched while every one of my 8 cities I toured around collapsed economically; except for Dallas. I have to support an incall location, as well as a home location, as well as pay for advertising and two cell phones...never mind transition expenses, which is why I started doing this in the first place. I live with another provider, but she works in Vegas and LA, so I don't see her that much. I don't see that many clients in general...my business is still off about 75% from where it was 6 years ago. It's derailed my entire transition and set me back YEARS. There is no consistency to my clients anymore. Sometimes I have a few in a week...sometimes the phone doesn't ring for DAYS. (I actually had an ELEVEN DAY dry spell last October.) So, yeah, it'd be great to have a slush fund to cover expenses...bring me steady clients and that would be no problem. People like me are just treading water, doing the best we can, waiting for things to turn around. And sometimes, we haven't had a phone call in four days... and the one guy you think is going to save your ass before the power gets shut off, decides to pull a scared bunny routine and run like forrest gump for the hills.

Yes, the scared bunnies are part of the business...but my business runs so close to the margins right now, that one scared bunny can fuck up my entire month. I don't want to be all cra-cra and track him down...and I've got a few people arguing both sides of this right now. We did our research...I know his name, his address, and that he's a plumber/electrician/hvac technician with three TX licenses - two of which are expired. I could very easily report him to the licensing board and make his life difficult. Sure it may make me seem like the crazy one - but I'm not seeing him again, am I? And it may make him think twice before he pulls the scared bunny routine on another provider, so there's that to consider.

I still have not decided what to do.

I can empathize with your situation; I've been that close to the razor-thin edge more times than I can count, and I do see how one "bolting bunny" can really screw things up for you.

However...

The fact that you're seriously contemplating taking some sort of twisted revenge on this guy, even going so far as to compile a dossier on him, tells me that you're someone that I would REALLY go out of my way to avoid. You know damn well that this whole business relies on discretion and trust, on both sides of the equation. Your own words tell us that you'd be willing to betray that trust purely out of anger and a need to strike back at someone who you believe "did you wrong." Who in their right mind would want to take a chance on seeing you if they knew that their lives could be ruined by you simply because they said the wrong thing, or looked at you funny, or any of a hundred different things that could set you off? I know that I wouldn't now, even if you rode into town and offered your services for free. You're too much of a risk.

You mentioned the economy still not being great. Well, guess what: that applies to the client as well as the provider. You've already seen the results first-hand, as you lamented that you've gone through long stretches without any business. For Joe Average, dropping a few hundred dollars on a whim isn't in the cards anymore; we have ever-increasing expenses, too, and some of us have families to support. Sometimes it comes down to dropping a few hundred dollars for an hour with a provider, or keeping the lights on and the house warm for another month. Whereas many of us could afford to see a talented lady several times a month before, nowadays we struggle to indulge in our fantasies a couple of times a year. You aren't the only one hurting financially, and your "bolting bunny" might have also had financial cold feet when he bailed on you (you'll probably never know for certain).

Perhaps you need to start considering if this is a business that you should be a part of anymore, if your financial struggles are so great that one deserting client would derail you that badly. I'm sure that you enjoy doing this a great deal, but if your finances could be improved by getting a boring job in "the real world," then maybe you should consider that option. But beyond the toll it's taking on you financially is the toll that I think it's taking on you mentally. Your willingness to ruin a guy's life just because he bailed on you tells me that your mental health is taking a helluva beating along with your bank account, and might signal that it's time for a change.

I am in a somewhat similar situation.   However I have never stood up anyone.  I would love to see if we could meet and offset our experiences.

A client of any kind reserves the right to change his mind; I'm sure you have not answered your phone once or twice or decided against seeing someone because you didn't like the way he communicated to you. If you walk into a restaurant (despite having reservations) and find the place dirty or the menu wasn't up to your standards, you reserve the right to leave. Perhaps, he sensed your desperation during your "directions" and that bothered him; or perhaps, he received further intel about you; or perhaps your location was deemed unsafe of rampant with unsavory characters milling round outside . Bottom line, it's called the cost of doing business and you need to find a different line of work since this obviously isn't working for you.  

Moreover, as others have stated, your whole demeanor is one red flag and I would never book a session with you.

I was going for a bit of humor with my response. I didn't realize quite how serious you were, I thought you were just pissed and exaggerating. I urge you not to retaliate. It's just the wrong thing to do. It won't fix your problems and will only create more. Escalation of force never ends well, for either party.

All of you have to relax.  

I reported him to the National Escorts Blacklist, and my personal blacklist which is give to other providers I work with...but I have not done anything else. And the research I have done on him is exactly the same research any provider would do while screening you. Keep that in mind while you seem so shocked - that's what happens when you're pre-screened. It's just that I made the mistake of trusting him beforehand...and of wanting to learn who it is exactly that screwed me so thoroughly after the fact.

And no, I have NEVER, EVER bolted on a client. If I get a bad vibe from them on the phone or email, I do not even book with them to begin with. If I book an appointment with you - I SHOW UP. PERIOD. Once the appointment has booked - be it I or him - bolting 100ft from the door for no particular reason other than vague feelings of unease is not really an option, is it? Do you really think that doing so is acceptable for any transaction?

I have had an almost 10 year career as a provider. I have never missed one appointment, never blown anyone off. I have never "taken revenge" for a no-show. I am highly rated because I am professional, and *can* be trusted. But hobbyists need to understand that when you book an appointment with a provider, wheels get put into motion. Resources are allocated. Time is blocked off. While I was waiting for him, I received another call for an appointment that I had to decline...in essence, costing me money. In taking his appointment, another provider could not use the same incall; costing her money. It can easily snowball into a situation that screws over a lot of people.

These events are not just "no big deal". They *mean* something.

While I totally understand that you should be able to bolt if you think it's a bait and switch or some other BS... if you saw my setup and how I handled things, you would wonder what was going through that person's head. There is simply no reason to feel any "vibe" or anything negative at all. It is an upscale location in a very nice neighborhood, that is conveniently located with safe public access. There are no "shady people milling about"...it's a nice family neighborhood, and I've worked there for over 3 years without a problem, and received nothing but compliment about it.  I offer, relaxed, friendly sessions - all my reviews attest to this - and this one incident is one of the worst I've had in 10 years.

Every provider has these same feelings. And while all this is going on, I had a few providers who were encouraging me to "take revenge", and some that weren't...but all of them *understood*. In the end...perhaps my venting here, was looking for a little more understanding and sympathy than is currently available; I'm sorry.

All this guys defending these waste timers are so ego-centric and arrogant. Why don't you put yourselves on TS's shoes ? At some point you get sick and tired.

Look, it's completely asinine to say these things when you have no idea how it is to be on this business. You guys by saying these quotes to Jessica are basically saying it's okay to be shit on, to suck it up and keep quite because you guys are GODs who deserve discretion for being guilty and possible by this behavior by purposely shitting on an escort's schedule, these quotes are simply gibberish excuses to make for this type of behavior. But when an escort shits on you, you have clients that also take the initiate to ruin her image. I support every TS escort who reports time wasters. It helps me also weed out the bad ones, just as it helps you hobbyists know who you are going to see in TER. It goes both way and stop being selfish.  

Personally, i usually let it go with these types of guys, however, if he keeps repeating this incident i will report him or if he did something that extremely bothered me or found unfair or goes without notice that he canceled ahead of time i will also report him and i will also mark him down as a Time Waster and decide to block and ignore him if he decides to call me again, some escorts do take notes and keep hobbyists on a good list or bad list on their phone. However, i do have a method for hobbyists so i know they are legit and 90% of the time it works for me. And final piece of advice Jessica, try to schedule back to back if possible close so it doesn't cost you to loose money. Peace

Do you know how many times I've been stood up by a TS provider? So many that I consider that the norm not the outlier. It's too bad that you have to make a living in this business when you have such disdain for the "egocentric " client. Of course, we're the ones who are constantly looking in the mirror and incessantly playing with our hair.  

Obviously, you didn't comprehend her plight....she can't book back-to-back because nobody calls. And it's "lose money", not "loose money" unless you're referring to the change in your pocket.

Again that's no excuse for these type of behavior. Telling us to suck it up and to keep quiet, please, get off your high horse.  It goes both ways like i said.

I have never just not shown up for an appointment, but I have had to call off appointments at the last second. In both cases, I got paged - once as I was walking down the hallway to her door and once just after I'd sat down in her room. The nature of my work gets me paged to respond to things regularly and sometimes I can't ignore those pages.

In both cases, however, I gave each lady the full session fee for the time I would have spent with her. I already had the money in my hands and there was no reason they shouldn't get paid just because my work called. Now, if I cancel a week in advance, I don't feel like I owe them any money (although I try never to cancel once I've made the appointment), but if I show up and can't or won't stay, they deserve to be compensated for their time even if nothing happened.  

Anyway, that's how I feel about it. YMMV.

This is why I've started taking deposits up front in these situations.

Even if it's just an amazon gift card; it demonstrates a certain level of follow through, and gives you *something* to fall back on in case of a cancellation.

I don't always ask for a deposit from people I know well already, but I certainly won't turn down a different appointment or put down money for an incall without one.

Jess, that's gotta suck.  If it's any consolation, this guy is a real loser, not only for cancelling or no-showing on you, but also he's missed out.  You're a class act.   If I lived in Dallas, I'd be broke.    

I don't know about the deposit thing.  It would be incentive for clients to keep appointments, but it could scare off a large number of 1st timers.   I know I would be hesitant.  Everything about the business is discretion and "guarded trust" but I guess it has to be that way.  

Wonder if there's anyway for your "regulars" to help support you??
