Hey, I’m a newish TS provider in Seattle and I’ve been having trouble getting the kind of client volume I want... a lot of trouble, really. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of where and how to advertise? I don’t really have money for expensive advertising at this time, and while I’ve found a handful of free escort sites that list trannies, they all seem rather low profile, and few have as many as a half dozen other trannies listed for my area.

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you try Craigslist?   You can create your own website with a personal url for $30 or so to start-up.  You should also try posting your location,best pics, and contact information on this board if the moderators will let you.  Reinvest your profits in an Eros.com ad and professional quality pics.

I haven’t posted here ‘cause the posting requirements require that I link to a website, which I don’t have... I ought to make one, but web design isn’t one of my skills, and it seems like the sort of thing to have done professionally.

As for CL... I’ve been avoiding it. Everything I’ve heard about it suggests that I should stay away, especially since I’m not yet a pro at screening.

There are some local boards (not TER) and I know that one MAY be TS friendly.  Several GG providers that offer greek and kink have expressed interest in offering sessions with TS providers.

Also, do you have any reviews anywhere?  Any pics?  Anything, anything at all?

And no reviews yet, either. I put up one of my pics, and of course I have more... I have ads on naughty.com, tranny providers, play pages, vice sisters, and a handful of others. I’m just not getting much business from them.

I agree with RIVER 1 do that if you want to become popular in a good way, then the guys will come back to see you over and over, I had guys that will drive for 8hrs just to see me and many guys that still come to see me even after 8 yrs.

GUNSGERMS+STEEL mention Craig list....Hmmm I don't like that site but yes you can always give it a try, is free and it will bring you lots of calls, they will take your ad down every 5 min tho, but post it 3 or 4 times a day, if they flag it do not repost it again till the next 3 or 4 hrs that way people will see your ad. if you post it right away they wont let you repost after 3 or 4 times I think, till next day.
And yes get nice pics, do not worry about the reviews for now since they will come as the guys get to know you.

Hey AunicaSwan, you have had several responses to your question, so you know you have got somebody's attention here on this board. If I were looking for some good, free advertising, I would have a attached a link to whatever web presence, pictures, links to Seattle and you, etc. that I already had.
But back to your question. I've come across a lot of  different types of ad sites since I've gotten into this hobby, but the only one I really use to help me find dates is Eros. I don't mess with Craigslist, but I am not sure why. Maybe because it is already enough of a crap shoot. Between this site and Eros, I've had some memorable dates, but some not so great ones too.
Good luck. If I had a better idea what your professional side was about, and it looked like you were the type of ASP I am interested in meeting, I might come out to Seattle to help increase the client volume.

Nobody is a pro at screening.  You have to start learning to do it sometime.  What are you screening out anyways?  As you said, you ought to make a website.  Most professional escort sites are too flashy and noisy which is a detriment for viewers that want to see one without drawing attention to the fact that they are looking at an escort website.  You can make one as effective as a professional's with free web creation software.  

If you're too lazy to learn how to use a web creation software then just create a xanga.com online journal and make that your site.  Stay away from myspace and facebook as government officials troll there.  

The money isn't going to just fall in you lap when you only post pics on freebie websites that get nearly no traffic.  If the minimal effort required to do simple things is beyond your work ethic, or you will naysay inexpensive alternatives that you haven't even tried, you should not wonder why you are unsuccessful.

Aunica I didn't read all the replies but honesty in your listing will help you in the long run. Top,bottom, fully functional etc... Deceptive providers are a common topic here and yeah we hate them

More tips...

Play up your command of the English language, it's sort of an issue here in the NW (and before anyone freaks, I don't care about that...I love latinas!)I have just noticed alot of guys complain about it.

Don't be afraid of Craig'slist to start...that's HOW you start. Once you have a client base you can move off from it.

Show some skin in the pics...Let people know that you aren't a "guy in a dress." Not saying you have to show the goods, but some curves will help.

Definately let guys know what you're into, Top, bottom, incall, outcall, cbj, bbbj, rates, etc, etc. The less you have to say on the phone the better...and just be honest. We appreciate it.

those sites should all get you some Seattle based clientele. They generally have very few TS on them so you shouldn't have much competition. If you have a thick skin and can deal with being insulted, you'll get some good experienced clientele that will treat you right.

Also....There are free escort hosting sites, google rareescorts.com.
