Thank you, boys!  Fortunately, I was not near where the tragedy took place.  It's just heart-rending for us here in Arkansas to have lost so many people, including children.

For those that haven't heard, we had a "perfect storm" scenario, where intense rain storms caused an un-heard of flood, raising the Little Missouri River some 20 feet in just a few hours during the early morning hours.

The campground was on the river banks, which is normally just fine.  But the sheer walls of the mountains and hills and the slow-moving storm just dumped rain at an unprecedented rate.  Given that most tents and RV's are fairly water tight at lower levels, the campers would have had no warning until the water was already too high and rushing at extremely high speeds.  All of this happened in pitch black night.

It's just so sad.
