Why not go to Cruisin on 7th, have a few drinks, chat up some girls and see who you click with at the bar. Its not LA or NY but there are always 10-15 girls there on a Friday or Saturday night. Wednesday is a good night there as well.  

Anyone can pick up the phone and call and make an appointment with a girl, go use your skills to meet someone in a bar and get to know them first. The thrill of the chase.....
