What are your thoughts on provider rates increasingly going up?

I’ve noticed a lot of providers who were advertising sub 200 rates for an hour are now advertising rates of 400 and above.  And what’s worse is that a lot of these providers are rushing you so you’re not even there for the full hour.  What are your thoughts on this?

Hate it, obviously. What other reaction can someone on the paying side of the transaction have? 🤑

I hate it too.  That being said, there is only so much I’m willing to offer a provider.  If their rate is past that threshold, I opt not to see them.  Lots of beautiful providers down here in Miami but I’m not willing to budge.  Would be nice if a provider could chime in and give an account on how their own rate increase has effected their business.

Do prices ever go down? Post reviews on the ones who aren't worth it.

Well, costs of housing, utilities and food have rose. When this happens, the ladies need to charge more.

Im also pretty sure there are ALOT more guys going to see Tgals these days so there is that whole demand thing.

While i am a cheap ass when it comes to my sex addiction, i am also finding that seeing certain gals that charge more but provide a better service is more satisfying and calms my hunger for longer periods of time.

Broadest measure of CPI (headline inflation) since Dec-2019 to Dec-2024 has been +23%. To cover her cost of living a $200 worker back then should charge $246 now. A $250 provider, $307. This is far less than price jumps seen in the past 5 years.
...
Providers may have discovered the demand curve is inelastic (Econ-101) meaning the number of sessions desired is relatively insensitive to price changes. This means their revenue loss due to the small decline in sessions caused by price hikes will be way more offset by the increase in revenue from the price increases applied to sessions count even after a negligible reduction in count. Big +++ net revenue; customers can't say no.

Only Fools as a revenue enhancer over the past 5 years alleviates the pressure to keep a lid on price increases so that session count is maintained.

Both demand and supply for TS services have risen since then so at best this dynamic may be a 'wash'. Even new supply coming in from central America (which would normally suppress prices) quickly learn they were wrong using prices back home + US living costs delta as a base point. Their misjudgment gets corrected mucho pronto by raising prices.

This topic is old news, there are several dozen similar ones in the last several years. The prices haven't suddenly risen, they've gone up a bit each year. Some providers pump up their rates after they get a boob job, nose job, butt job, face fem surgery or realize they can get more. Newer providers may start at a lower rate and then jump a hundred or couple hundred after learning the ropes. It is what it is and will not change. Like the rest of the world, prices never go down, and with the hobby there aren't any "sales" going on either.

Sometimes rate increases are also due to a girl simply meeting her required threshold via regulars and not needing to increase her client load in order to make money. Personally most of my clients see me at least twice a month if not more so it gives me the leeway to raise rates in order to keep my numbers down and protect my physical/mental health. Kind of like load management in the NBA... (yes 'load' management.. pun intended lol).

I posted my thoughts & questions like this in a previous thread about prices too high.
The current  Infatuation crisis likely started this,  and have we ever seen jacked up prices that ever go back down to 'normal' again ?

Maybe negotiation request & tactics can be a deciding matter but also it's best be prepared to accept rejection and move on possible agreed negotiations to alternative escort option ?

Just think about it as a man. When I was 19 , I had a new hot Gf. I took over a friend's house fucked her in every room with my goal being Ten times. I got to seven and got bored...The females have about that limit too. Every guy expects the T-girl to cum ... could YOU do it. I myself don't pay much over 200 anymore. They have to eat. The ones that charge 500 only see about two guys a week. you will be the unlucky one if you are number 6 or 7

This is a topic that's gone round and round since this board has been around, it's economics 101. In 2000 the average rate for a trans escort was $150-$200, now it's $300-$400 (double). The value of $150 - $200 in 2000 is equal to $280-$380. This is an obvious generalization, but the cost of escorts increased only a bit more than inflation over 25 years of 2.6%. If you split providers into; low, middle and high price ranges, you'll have the least influence with the higher price ranges and the most with the low range.

If inflation rates are never going down and have peaked well above the average 3-5% annually, how can anyone expect rates to remain the same or even go down. Yes, we can say "I won't pay that" and if enough people follow that trend, then supply and demand would bring rates down a bit over time; over several months and years. However, the cost of exotic and or premium goods and services will always be set by those looking for higher level of quality or prestige, who can also afford it. A Ferrari doesn't go down in price the same as common things becasue of slow sales, they simply slow or stop production to make it even more rare and maintain the desire to get one.

They are making way over the average income inflation isn't affecting them and they also pay no tax . 150/200 is more than fair

Wow, she's all that?  Image really is everything for some, I guess, but for me it's useless fluff ---
Exotic: she's tatted to the nines, has claws for fingernails, a bone thru her nose and no tits or gigantic tits.
Premium: She states VIP rates for unspecified services, and won't discuss anything till you trek to her door.
Quality: Her pix are curated cosmetic shots with heavy photoshop.
Prestige: She has a Tesla on lease, selfie at a 4-star hotel and wears a Louis Vuitton handbag.
...
Seems to me high prices are primarily due to a customer base that will not, cannot say "no, not at that price". Providers are aware and wise to just keep raising prices -- total revenue goes up despite reduced session count.

Seems like this is more an ax to grind than vital info others here aren't aware of. It's really simple, we all play within our budget and we all have different budgets. If you want the Ferrari but can only afford the Lexus or a Chevy then why complain about the Ferrari? That's the world we all live in...

Totally agreed, and while there may be a growing number of them, I still think those are the exceptions not the rule. Prices have steadily gone up over time mainly due to the increased cost of living. Some of them are simply capitalizing and maximizing their prices to as much as they can like any business person would.

Overall, this pricing topic is the same and there is rarely new info shared. It's mainly a few people complaining, a few others jumping on the band wagon trying to make prices going down by doing so. Is that really going to happen ever? While this can be compared to other goods and services you can buy and trade in the world, the big difference it's highly personal and subjective.

Rumor has it, it's the oldest profession in the world, followed by the critic saying how good or bad it was. The choices that remain are the same; complain all you want, or learn to read between the lines, navigate providers to avoid the disappointments or leave the hobby.

For the time I have to spend researching to find a provider and the hoops I have to jump thru they should pay me! The next time I see a 9 inch top and find a 4 inch bottom I am charging for my service🤡😉
