While the younger ladies are a joy to look at I have only found a couple that provide a friendly experience to the older gentlemen.  

I would love to find someone closer to my age but that doesn't seem to be possible.   Do all the providers retire or fall off the earth after 45?  Is it that there is no market for the older provider?

most are a lot older than they state.  there are a few out there.  tonya in s. florida comes to mind.  a number of ladies prefer older guys, being one of those "guys" (middle aged actually, i just don't that many 100+year old guys!!) i think we tend to be a little smoother and savvy, plus having a little more discretionay income.  over 45 or so, i don't know, the market demands (in a couple of aspects) a younger person.

What I generally do is when looking at a profile, add +7-10 years on top of the claimed age for some of the providers thats been around a bit.  I can think of dozens of providers that I suspect are near 40s in the LA/OC area.

Disclaimer:  Please understand I came into this information from stories my grandmother told me.  Since I am only, ah... "38" I am not actually admitting to anything.  

Why there are few older TS providers.

1) The "30/50 rule."  50% of transsexual women die by age 30 from suicide, drugs, HIV, murder or medical issues.  This is actually roughly true though I think it's edging downward.

The result of this is many providers who start early, simply don't survive to old age.  And late transitioners often have other employable skills they can  fall back on.

2) The lifestyle doesn't treat many TS's very well as they age.  I've been lucky, I was never very pretty in the first place, so I don't have as much to lose. LOL And I never pumped silicone, so my face and ass isn't going to sag to my ankles as I get older. And I have a 26 year old girlfriend who keeps me feeling spry.

But my health isn't the greatest, and frankly I just don't have the energy anymore to provide the companionship I used to love to do.  Now what I really need at night is someone to rub my feet instead of my ding dong.  LOL

3) Most TS providers are not that good at marketing and I think as they age they don't have access or the inclination to participate in forums such as this - which is where the best guys to date come from.  You can't really stand on the street trying to car hook when you are 55.

I also think a lot of older TS's get on various forms of state aid. Plus most will qualify for SSI at age 62 - though that is changing.  A LOT of transsexuals receive disability and other payments.  I only knew of two full-time TS's in San Diego who actually had jobs outside of the sex trade.  Most girls who had jobs worked as guys.

In conclusion -  judging from my e-mail I think there is a market for older providers. I think there are some older men who while they may like some young nooky on occasion, really prefer somone they can connect with on a contemporary level.

So maybe one of these days I'll get the energy to do something more than type and I'll get back out there for you gents who want to date someone who can also remember the day JFK died.

Many thanks for your concise answer and I do know that many girls stretch the truth about their age.  Your first point unfortunately confirms some of my suspicions, wish it weren’t so.   BTW, I give good foot massages.
