Rib ... WHY DIDN'T YOU GIVE ME SOME NOTICE ??? I would love nothing better, but I can't ask for that day off with so little notice. I wish I could go. I keep thinking about a tall beautiful leggy Asian I saw there the last time I visited there. For every glance I gave her, she would promptly reciprocate in kind. She was also giving me the eye at the Yukon Mining Company afterward ... Did I blow it with her or what ? 
you need more than a week's notice to take a day off? What plantation are you picking cotton on, anyway???
It is a plantation, today in particular. Whew! I need to get into another fuckin' field.
It turns out I have this Friday night off after 5:00pm, WITH all of Saturday off and free to recover, but -- BUT -- by the time I leave ( around 6:00 or 7:00 pm ) for Los Angeles, I doubt I'll be able to find a room in that area at a decent price. I'm trying to be frugal for the next coouple of weeks, as I'll be going on a cross country trip soon. What luck, huh ?
