Posted this in my regional section but it applies here too so figured I ask again to get a wider perspective.

I will not divuldge the identity of the lady in question so please do not ask and please do not PM me asking for the info either.

OK... So I send an e-mail inquiry to a lady who had posted that she would be visiting later this month. A few days go by and nothing... Today I recieve an e-mail back from her with a detailed list of her services and rates along with a PDF document that turns out to be a contract for services....

In it she asked that I print, sign, scan and return the document to her before she is willing to schedule! Now... perhaps some people may have fallen off the turnip truck but I for one see this as something that unwittingly could/would bite me in the ass later!

Has anyone ever had this requested of them in the past and if so how did you handle it? I'm inclined to just sign the document "Tony the Tiger" and send it back to see if she notices. I find it hard to believe anyone would be dumb enought to sign their name to a contract that implies illegal services...

Am I nuts here or could she possibly be getting folks to actually sign the damn thing? Really just perplexed and can't tell if its nievity on her part or just pretentiousness???

Thanks,
Fog

I would just pass.  Too much trouble.  Too many girls out there.

It wouldn't be useful as evidence against anyone, but why bother. Or if you really need to see this provider do a fake name...is she going to check your ID to that signature before she'll get naked? That's a strange one.

1) Blackmail
2) Sting Operation
3) Weird nutcase motive

Anyone think of any others?

That is a bad deal and I know you would not even chance it.  LE, especially in big cities, has the budgets to investigate this type of hobby through online tools and they assign officers to do just that.  If anyone was to sign anything, its a nail in the coffin.

Somewhat related...In S. Cal (on the news a year or so ago)........this young hormone thrivin kid (maybe 19) was on craigslist replying to ads (fake ads)...this hot hot hot hot ad is there and he sends an email  She invites him over and tells him to bring party supplies and gets busted.  He had never done anything like that (or that was what was reported) and the LE team in the area created this on their own by baiting a horny guy who would do anything to meet that girl.  Now thats wrong and this scenario is bad news.

HAHAH.

Ok, so I assume you aren't seriously entertaining the idea of signing and are just bringing this to everyone's attention for the humour value.

That said, you might reconsider even messing with this as a joke.  On the long long list of "whys" regarding this little arrangement, none of them bode well for you.  Watch from a distance, don't  even get close.

Could be as inoccuous as her thinking it will protect her from sting operations, etc, but are the pickings really so slim that you would even bother?  Move on brother, and be safe.
