I was perusing Twitter/X today, and ran across a term I see a bunch. As a client that likes the occasional TS provider, my preferences vary from ass, to tits, to face, etc. This term came recently from a TS provider I noticed was in my vicinity. Of course I looked up the term, but it seems to IMO fit any and everyone that seeks out TS providers. So, exactly what is a "tranny chaser"? And why do TS providers who are actively selling ass and enticing men via ads use this term?
In the simplest terms a "tranny chaser" is someone who chases tranny ass. It is a term used in the pejorative by some TS women to describe certain kind of men. The exact meaning varies from person to person. To some it is directed at men who fetishize TS women in an unhealthy way. To others it is directed at men who go after TS women in private but deny it in public. To some it is directed at men who prefer TS women or exclusively hook up with TS women. TS women can hate chasers for many reasons. Sometimes the guys I described don't treat TS women well which causes animosity. Other times, TS women are projecting their own issues on to the guys who are attracted to them. They don't always like that guys are attracted to their penis (which some feel dysphoric about) or to the fact specifically they are trans. They would prefer to be viewed as a "regular" woman and would prefer "straight" gentlemen to be their BFs and hookup partners.
Based on my read it is a disparaging remark referring to time wasters. Probably coined by the whores who use fake photos and are hung in centimeters. Humor?
It was originally supposed to refer to men who have an unhealthy fetishization for trans women. These men can be generally unsafe or suspect for a variety of reasons. As with all things there is a fine line between preference and unhealthy fetishization and most times the girls who use the term chaser don't know the difference between a guy who just likes trans women and enjoys their company and a guy who sees them only as sex objects. TBH the term doesn't usually refer to men who are paying clients because it's assumed that a decent percentage of clients are chasers. It's usually more relevant for dating in our private life. I don't mind being fetishized if I'm being paid well, but I'd rather hope that a man who I choose to see in my free time doesn't look at me and think of me as a tranny hooker or some other pejorative term, but rather a woman who he would like to spend time with and perhaps get to know.
In summary, If you're paying girls for sex, don't worry too much about what they think you are, but in every case try to approach/talk to trans women the same way you would a cis woman and you'll be fine. If you move that way any girl who tries to call you a "chaser" is likely just working an angle to make you feel guilty and scam you and you can just move on.
That’s a great question and one that definitely comes up often. The term “tranny chaser” has a lot of baggage historically, it's been used in a negative or fetishizing way to describe men who specifically and often obsessively pursue TS providers, sometimes with little respect for their identity or boundaries. That’s likely why many TS providers feel conflicted about the term, even if they are advertising themselves it’s more about how someone approaches them, not just that they’re interested.
There's a big difference between being genuinely attracted to TS women and seeing them as people, versus treating them like a curiosity or secret indulgence. Some TS providers use the term to call out certain behaviors that feel dehumanizing or overly fixated on their trans identity.
That said, there are many respectful and open-minded clients out there and plenty of TS escorts who truly enjoy what they do and appreciate genuine connections. Its a man who dates transwomen for their dick and probably wouldnt be okay with them having sexual reassignment surgery. No dick would be a deal breaker for them.
