I am thinking about touring this year. I am from chicago and want to broaden my horizons. This question is for both providers and hobbyist. What are the most popular cities to tour with safe discreet hotels. Suggestions are welcomed thanks.

Nome, Alaska.  Be sure to stay at the Antler Inn on Main St.  Nice place and the elevators do not require security keys
