Why do girls do that? As soon as you guys show up, you immediately find out that the pics are fake. for the life of me, I don't understand the marketing value of pretending to be someone else. lol

Corvair issues were about suspension and handling.  Pintos sometimes caught on fire when the car was rear-ended.  Two different safety issues.

Sigh.  You know your attempts at humor have fallen flat when you get questions about your (supposedly) witty remarks!

They're banking on guys thinking with their little head instead of their big head, and having come this far, will decide to just go ahead with it, hoping for the best (but usually getting the worst). The fact that far too many guys actually *DO* this is why they continue to run this scam. After all, why fix what ain't broken? :(

I dunno though. I would think a girl who pulled this off would have to be hot enough to away with the dishonesty, and therefore could theoretically just have used her own photos. And if she -IS- that hot, you have to question why she's hiding. From my perspective, that's a safety risk.

Guys: seriously, please use the big head and consider that those of us who use our real pics and cater to our gentlemen properly (i.e. those of us who do it 'right') end up suffering the most in the end as fakes steal our business right out from under us and when many real providers pull their ads when sites get spammed by this junk, it of course validates dishonest techniques even more so and emboldens them even more... and then you guys end up suffering too.

Food for thought.

All of what you say is absolutely true, but regardless, you still see reviews and posts here from guys who found that the girl(?) behind the door wasn't the one in the photos, yet went ahead with it anyway. Gotta be something that happens to a guy's brain when he gets a hard-on. Not enough blood left to power his brain. :)

You go based on the glam shots and you find a guy in a wig.  Then they try to extort the money out of you.  Happened to me and I ran like hell after she threatend to get her bf.  I se why some guys will pay.  Sometimes you are stuck and it is not worth the 200$ to fight your way out.  It is similar blackmail.

If I ever needed a few thousand dollars and my life depended on it and I had nothing to lose, I could pull the very same scam.  I would post fake pics and lure you in.  I would greet you behind the door wearing a wig and a dress.  I would slam the door behind and lock all the locks.  I can safely say that none of you guys would actually go through with it and you would have to pay your way to get out.  Would you stay and fight?  I have your cell and I am a low life with nothing to lose.  Meanwhile you have everything to lose so you pay your way out. Do you want to wait for the police and tell them that the TS escort you thought you called is posting fake pictures????  After a few days I could change my phone number and post some different pictures and change hotels or cities.  This

After I escaped he called me non-stop.  I called the front desk at the hotel this TV was staying at and I told him that a TV is robbing people in room XYZ.  My phone stopped ringing.

Yes, it does make me speculate on how many of the murders that happen in cheap hotels, where the police feed the media the "drug deal gone wrong" excuse, are actually these types of "robs". The Cops are not so stupid they can't figure out a crime scene "death by misadventure", particularly when one of the corpses is a man in a wig and dress and an armed obvious Pimp type that wasn't fast enough on the draw or relying on intimidation so many times having it work for him he got lax, not expecting a stone-killer to turn up. It's a "win-win" situation for the Police, as these types always have felony records. They can then close the case file on such murders without bothering further investigation because, nobody cares and it is a dead end anyway. Call the Coroner for a quick clean-up (that Television CSI stuff is 90% fantasy) , stuff em' in a hole or cremate, problem solved. Then "real" resources can be put toward actual menaces to society, like gang-bangers, murderers & rapists, the types of criminals that endanger the peaceable folks...
