Yes, I use Vesna in Europe and Nikola in America, I just got confuse, and Vesna is a Slavic name, it can be Serbian too.
Vesna means: Spring, resurrection.
And Nikola is Slavic too, also Serbian, Croatian, Slovene, Bulgarian, Macedonian, Hungarian, Chez,
and Nikola means: Victory of the people.
Some countries like Italy use Nikola as male name, but in East Europe is for female, you can see more women named Nikola in Chez Republic.
