you are a smart man.....It will enhance your experience greatly when your provider sees that you have taken the time to prepare, and you will be more relaxed as well.  

Shit happens, so unless you do a full up colonoscopy prep, there is always the chance of some unpleasantness, but at least you have shown your partner that you are concerned with hygiene and have respectfully extended the effort to deal with it.   It has to be a real challenge for a provider to maintain an erection when the client is not prepared and things are nasty.
