most post op providers will list under TS classifications, with an extra note that they are post-op  (at least on eros).  I would also think that for your own saftey to be up front, since if someone thought they were going to see a GG and discovered you were post-op, it could be potentially problematic.

I would imagine that post ops is an even smaller niche category than TS, although Danielle Foxxx is providing as a post-op out of vegas.  I agree with Sancho, I see GG and TS, but i would see a GG instead of a post-op if that was the route I wanted to take.   A lot of providers who go through SRS look to provide before SRS and kind of give it up after, just from what i've seen.

I'm a TS who is looking to become a provider after getting SRS. I haven't really known about the hobby for long, but I had assumed that post-op TS would be considered "female" for classification (assuming the TS can pass for female and was able to legally change their gender marker to female) since we would have the same "parts" that people would be interested in from a GG for the hobby. I was going through the general board and found out that post-op TS are still labeled differently, which has me a bit concerned.

My question is, is there a good/large demand for post-op TS providers? Maybe it's because I'm new to the hobby and such so I could be missing something, but it'd seem like we'd be competing with GGs for clients and they seem to be far more popular not to mention "accepted" than we are.

I realize the answer will vary from area to area and person to person, and even could change with time but I'd really appreciate any insight others would be willing to share.

One other thing I've been wondering about is I've seen people ask if people are fake or calling people fake and various things like that on this board. What does that mean and is it a bad thing or just informing people of a certain situation involving a person?

Hi Clayona, good question(s). Hope some other board members ad their takes as well.

For me, I like to see both TS and GG providers. When you see a hobbyist here asking if a girl is real or a fake, it usually means that they are asking if the lady in question is worth paying a visit to or not. Since this is a review site, most of us are here to meet ASP's and we don't want to spend our cash on ladies who are not good dates. Ladies who post ads using fake pictures are fakes. Ladies who promise all kinds of great things in their ads, and then don't do what they say they will when you meet them may not be fakes, but that would count too, imo.  TS providers who have reviews and reputations as ladies "with something extra" and then don't mention the fact that they have had SRS, and see clients who are expecting a date with a lady who is still sporting original equipment, fake? That's kind of a gray area, but I would say fake to that as well. Like  you say, guess it varies from person to person.

For me, personally, since I like to see GG's too, don't think I would be too interested in meeting a post op TS lady, since I could call a GG provider to begin with if that was the kind of date I was after.

Best of luck with the procedure and for how everything goes for you.:)

I'm somewhat in agreement, except...

A post-op to me is gold!  Here we have a girl who once knew what it was like to be pleasured like a boy.  Oh my.  Can you get better oral from the male or female? - in general - I know there are amazing exceptions.  99% of the time it's a guy.

Then again I'm almost always a top, so I may be an exception even still.  But my opinion is, advertise as a TS and just specify you are post-op.  I'm betting you'll have to hold them off with a stick.

Thanks for the responses.

It's rather disappointing that it seems post-op TS are kind of singled out in a way. I know there's some people who have a phobia about TS so I understand the importance of making it clear that we are one, but other than that it seems unfair that we're a "niche" and a small one at that. Assuming a TS goes to a good surgeon, and doesn't have any other masculine signs (which can also generally be taken care of by surgery if required) there shouldn't be any noticeable difference by hobbyists that a woman is TS or GG.

It seems like this is something that needs to change in some way. I'm not really sure of the normal etiquette for sites like this, but imo a post-op TS should be allowed to post as a female, and just make a note (that's clearly visible) that they're a TS. I think something like that for post-op TS would lead to a lot more good providers showing up, which anyone without transphobia would like just as much, if not more than GGs. People could then decide based on pictures and such if they'd want to give the TS a try rather than us being sort of a subgroup of TS that most people looking for TS aren't going to be interested in companionship with.

Having been with a Pre-Op, Post-Op ladies, and GG ladies there is definately a difference between each. If you are an attractive lady, I am sure you will find a following, but for your own safety it would be better to let everyone know up front that you are a Post-Op

Definetly be upfront and don't claim to be a GG... that is problematic and unfortunatley with homophobia still prevelent in our society you run the risk to "tricking" the wrong guy and thus becoming a statistic that no one here wants to see happen!

In my mind Post-Op is pointless... if I wanted to be with a woman I'd see a GG. The whole purpose of being with a TS is to do something you otherwise could not with a GG. I suppose there might be those who are curious and that may be the niche but unless you are famous like Danielle Foxx... I don't think there will be much demand.
