There is not a direct answer to this question. There are many reasons, and not being a TS I can't fully answer the ?. What I can tell you is many TS girls become escorts, as the $$ can be good and they can use the good money to assist in their transition.  Many have multiple surgeries (breasts, facial reconstruction, even hair transplants, etc).  This stuff is EXPENSIVE so why not pay it off $300 a pop, right?  

Also, I did speak to a TS girl who was not working as an escort and she said almost every one of her TS friends did escort.  So, it appears the majority do.

Let's take a look a some basic human nature. Male human nature to be more precise. As much as these "Girls" want to be Girls. They are still born with a male human nature. That is to say they like to fuck. Then they take on the looks and behaviors a woman. Now they are attractive to other men who like to fuck. Do you see where I'm going with this?
Let's say for a moment the tables were turned. Would you not want to get paid 2-300.00 a "Pop" to do what you like to do? I agree with "The Dog" that all the enhancements cost money and it's a means to an end. But I still think there isn't one of us that would turn down the $$$ just for the fun of it. Otherwise why keep doing it after all the enhancements and augmentation gets done.
I wish them alll well. It takes Balls to the lenghts these girls go to to get where they want to be. It's not easy and the road is filled with ridicule and judgement. They are fearless in their pursuit of happiness and I applaud every one of them  for pursuing what they beleive will make them happy and fullfilled. They are out there putting their ass on the line for the whole world to see. How many of us can say the same thing. God Bless 'em!
