Moscollum ??

Dr told me I might have it. I'm waiting for the blood & urine tests but said the pimple like bumps that I have can be treated by freezing it but it will be painful. WAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa !!1

Anyone here had that experience???? Ughhhhhhhhhhhhh
I'm also told that "moscollum" goes away eventually.

I'm hating myself right now.

My kids had it. Although I know there are 4 different versions (type 1 is very common in kids, and type 2 is common in adults). So the adult one (which is often sexually transmitted) might have different reactions.

Its actually called molluscum contagiosum.

Its a viral skin disease that is characterised by lots of small bumps on the skin, often in clusters. Its easily transmitted through water, and you can spread it from one bit of your body to the other by contact. So try to cover it and isolate it.

My doc told me not to try with the freezing etc beause there were too many and it was too painful. It lasted about 2 months on my dauhter and six months in my son. But it did go away by itself, and left no scars on my daughter and only some very small scarring on my son.

It looked terrible for a while but it didn't itch and didn't upset them.

Good luck!!!!

Thanks for the reply. Do they prescribe antibiotics? I still have to wait a week for the test results.

For the kids they prescribed nothing. They just let it run its course.

As I understand it its viral not bacterial, so antibiotics are not going to help.

As I said good luck.

PS I never went to med school (though I did once fuck a nurse), so obviously take my medical advice with the grain of salt it deserves....
