How come DC gets so many great Trans and Baltimore/BWI never hardly gets any?

DC beltway is awash in taxpayer and lobbyist money that is spent with the same profligacy as drunk gamblers in Vegas.  Baltimore is in steep decline, broke and decaying.

Couldn't have said this better myself! With the exception of the Inner Harbor and Fell's Point, Baltimore is a giant slum. I used to spend a lot of time in Baltimore and would generally drive to DC for my fun. It's only about 45 minutes so get in the car. At least you have DC closeby, many smaller crappy cities don't have a better city so close.
