I can think of about 6 right now that have adds on both but different names

and I've heard sometimes there is a difference in price depending if you call the Eros or Backpage ad.

In the hotel business this is known as revenue management.

But seriously, it makes sense. You can buy a pair of Levis at a Macy's in a less prosperous part of town for less than you'd pay for the same jeans in the high-rent district. It's a whatever-the-market-will-bear kinda thing.  And I could be wrong, but my perception is that as a general rule Backpage is a lower-cost market.

Of course, Backpage is probably less reliable than Eros, so I guess you pay one way or the other . . .

The gurls want to know how the guys find them.  I.e. if most everyone is calling using her backpage name the next time she won't put an ad out on eros because she knows the guys aren't looking at it to any great degree. Saves money.

I've asked providers before about this.  They told me that for EROS they'll get dolled up extra special because usually it will be at a higher rate.  I always google a provider's phone number first.  If I see the same provider listed for a lower rate then that's the rate I'll be calling about.  I don't really care what they are wearing or what their make up looks like.
