T-Girl nights at Peanuts (Club 7969)

Just because some of you have been asking...

TS nights at Peanuts, or Club 7969 depending which name you use,are on Mondays and Fridays. People ususally start to show up around 11:30 although doors open at 10pm.

Both nights have a show that starts around 12:30 am.  Mondays usually have some sort of theme (latin divas, Soul Sisters,Studio 54, etc..) and Fridays the T girls in the show do a topless strip dance, including pole work.

Cover is $10.  Parking can be tough so you will probably want to just valet park. The club is at 7969 Santa Monica Blvd (near Fairfax).  At closing (2am) a lot of the crowd goes to the Yukon Mining Co. for a late night snack and for hanging out fun.

Helpful Hints:

1. You don't have to wear a suit, but please... shower, shave and wear some NICE clothes.  A dirty T shirt, baggy shorts and flip-flops won't get you very far.  It amazes me when I see people dressed like that.  You think any hot looking girl would want to be seen with someone like that??  No.

2. It won't kill you to go up to a girl, smile, introduce yourself (with a name) and at least OFFER to buy her a drink.  Don't just walk up to a girl and say "You're hot."  What are we supposed to say to that?

3. Don't be afraid of the girls!!!  We are just human beings like you and everyone else.  Chances are, if you are kind, polite, and have some basic social skills (don't drool on the floor)then chances are you will have a better time than those guys that stand in a dark corner and just stare at the girl the whole night.

4.  Give the girls a break too.  Hey, sometimes we just got hit on by a jerk, or had a bad day, or just don't feel like talking so our defences may be up when you approach us.  We are not mean, but maybe you just caught us at a bad time.

5. If you get turned down, try not to let it bother you.  I know any kind of rejection is hard, but try to handle it in a mature way.  Don't call the girl a bitch and walk away.  Just say something like "Well, maybe next time, it was still nice to meet you".  If you act with that much class, the girl may just change her mind right then and there!

Always be polite, kind and repectful... that will get you far.

Peace & Love

I always have a good time at 7969, either monday or friday but now that you can't park at the B of A anymore, fridays are out.  I'm gonna try "The Apache" in studio city on fridays.  The valet parking at 7969 on friday is not to my liking.......to each his own, ect, ect.  As far as hooking up, I don't think all the girls there are working, but who knows.  I do know that if you flash the cash you'll either get laid or end up buying the girls lots of drinks, no doubt.  I would say, don't go there thinking you're gonna get some kind of automatic discount on all goods displayed.  If you look like a slob they may tack on extra dough for the price of a good time.  Best bet is to exchange info and meet during the day.  Overall, it's a great time

Thanks, TS! You really are a "Star". I've been thinking about heading down there, so your advice and caveats are definitely appreciated. ...Should I go with the seersucket suit and fedora, or the Nehru jacket and tight slacks ?;)

Some questions have come to mind, though:

1) Where does one park if it is as crowded as you described? Are the surrounding areas on the periphery safe in case one has to park far from the club ?

2) How crowded does it get, and does it also double as a gay club on those nights ? That is, is there a gay presence there ? I'm sorry for the stupid question which borders on paranoia, but I've never been to a TS club, so I have no idea what to expect. None. What's the ratio of girls to men there ? Is it one TS for every 10 men for example ?

3) I hate places where a shoehorn (crowbar in some cases) is needed to get through from one side to the other. Is this place really crowded in other words (Whine, whine, whine) ?

Thanks in advance! :)

Hi Piqued,

1. Parking on neighboring streets is not allowed.  You need a permit to park on those streets or you will get a ticket.  And believe me, LAPD (or whoever is in charge of parking enforcement) gives out parking tickets 24/7.  The French Market parking lot next to the club is strictly for those customers and they enforce that.  We used to be able to park at the B of A but now I understand they don't allow people to park there anymore, either.  So you can pray that you get really, really lucky with street parking, or just pay the $5 for valet parking.  That's what most everyone does I think.

2. No, on those nights it does NOT double as a gay bar. (Once in awhile there might be a couple "gay" people, but not anymore so than any "normal" club.) If you walked in the club without knowing what it was, all you would see is men & women.  The ratio certainly differs night by night, but if I HAD to guess, I'd say maybe 60% girls, 40% guys.  Does that sound right?  I might be wrong about that.  Maybe other people that have been there will give their opinion about that.

3. Fridays are always more crowded than mondays.  Again, some nights more so than others.  But there are three rooms.  One main room where the show, big dance floor and main bar is, a second room with a pool table and smaller bar, and a thrid room with even a smaller bar and some couches and a mini pole dance stage.  So if you want quiet time with someone, you would be able to find some.

If any of you decide to go there the first time, just RELAX, and have fun like you would any other club.  It's no big deal.  Really, it's not.  The guys that seem to have the best time are the ones that are comfortable with themselves and are just there for a good time.  Be polite, respectful and be gentlemen.

That's all the tips for today, guys.  I don't know why I feel so chatty lately!   LOL

Your Hollywood Tour Guide.

it's nice to remember it's a real world within which we hobby. proper manners and comfort with one's self are  never out of style. nor is the generosity of your advice. best wishes from this stranger. some night  maybe i'll break my 7969 cherry and buy you a drink.

Very well said!!!   Good manners never go out of style.  Treat people the way you'd like to be treated!!!

BTW, I just want you all to know that I am NOT the same TS STAR that is on Eros in LA.  Just in case you are wondering.  I have never had an ad on Eros before.   (When I found out there was someone else with that name, I tried to change my screen name here, but couldn't do it.)  Sorry for the confusion!!!

The "other" TS Star

Star,

What?! No mention of the Hollywood Walk of Fame ? What up wit dat, girl ? I want my tour money back!;)

Thank you so much for all the tips. I will copy and paste them for use so when I do go. Hopefully within the next few weeks. I particularly like the ratio you mentioned. Wow! I hope you mean TSes and not TVs ? :)

Okay, last question: Is there any lot (Businesses, strip mall, Ralphs, etc?) or street within walking distance to the club ? I wouldn't mind walking a few blocks as long as the corridor to the club appears safe before and afterward. Any such place ?

Maybe I can talk someone in here into going with me my first time ? Hee-hee! :D

Thank you again, Star! Your assistance is invaluable.I also thought you were the girl featured in the LA Eros ad. Aren't there a few with that very sobriquet ?

As far as I know, there are no shopping malls or other places to park around there.

Why be so scared to go by yourself?  It's NOT a big deal.  The bouncers don't care, the valet people don't care, the manager doesn't care.  They've seen everything before and couldn't care less what people are into.  As long are you pay the cover, buy drinks, and don't cause trouble, you will be welcomed with open arms by the staff.

Peace & Love

need i fear the typical strip club tactic where the girls get you to buy them drinks, they order $$$$ and get soda and split the $ with the barkeep later? way too paranoid i think...actually started from my wondering if there's a 'two drink minimum" - another strip club money milking method. think i'll break my 7969 cherry tonight. whew. ter flood night at 7969? ;-)

TS Star8056 reads

No, no, no... sorry about that.  I didn't mean to imply that you HAD to buy drinks.  Not at all.  You can go there and not order anything if you don't want to.  Although if you sit up front at one of the tables, I guess it would be courtious of you to buy something. But still, it's not a requirement I don't think.  There is no minimum at all, except for the minimum age 18+ I guess.

I just meant in the most general terms that I'm sure the bar owners would be happy if everyone drank a lot... more profit for them as a business.

I am not aware of any scams about girls getting drinks and splitting money with the bar people..... but hey... thanks for the good idea!!!   (Just kidding!)

funny you should bring up the drink thing.....several weeks ago this guy offered a drink to one of the girls and she ordered a double vanilla stolie with a shot of stolie on the side......thats like a 15+ dollar drink.  The club was dark but I could see the poor guy turn green.

I'm not afraid to go into the club itself, as I am of the neighborhood surrounding it. That's why I asked about the parking situation around there. I could go valet, but I'd prefer not to. Recent new car purchase, personalized plates, et all.

And, anonymity is almost assured being that I don't reside in the greater Los Angeles area, so, no, it isn't about what the staff or what anyone else might think.

Thanks once again! :)

By the way, do you escort ?

I'll have to think about posting it here.  But then there is the other problem of figuring out just how to do that.

Thanks for the request!   :)
