I don't think it's bad for providers to have gaps in their resume... It could be any number of things; maybe she got a boyfriend and didn't work for a while, or saw only regulars, or was in jail, or deported, or just took time off. Might've been alien abduction too. I say throw her a welcome back party, but if she has any inexplicable scars on her head be very careful...
