After 21 years of  being in the hobby I  can honestly say I have had only a handful of experiences that met or exceeded my expectations.  Ever since adventure of  apps that can manipulate  photos and exaggerated  descriptions I seem to always say close enough.  It seems like the mind build up an unrealistic expectation     when you search the various sites. These days I want a 10/10  and settle for a 7/7. Time to change my methods it just not doing it for me anymore. I would gladly pay more for a  10/10 than to settle anymore. Who is your 10/10?

I've had only a few girls who are 10/10. I wouldn't consider any of my regulars a 10/10 right now, but I still have a hell of a lot of fun with a 7/7, or even better, four 7/7s!

10/10 is supposed to be a once in a lifetime type experience. You can't expect 10/10 every time out there. Most girls are going to be average by definition. Few are going to be exceptional. It is the nature of the game. It is why ATFs are such a big deal. You have to adjust expectations and behavior. You have to be way more selective and realize that quantity and quality aren't always going hand in hand.

If you are hobbying somewhat reguraly, it's unrealistic to expect them to all be 10/10. I agree, those are the rare ones. Honestly, 7/7 is okay, but I was probably a little disappointed. But 8/8 I'm usually happy.

 
That said, if money isn't an object and you would prefer greater experiences over hobbying more often, seeking the cream of the crop is not out of the question. But it means either finding the 1 or 2 nearby and hitting repeat, waiting and hoping they travel to you some day, or ponying up for some FMTY or you fly to where they are. And honestly, if they are that amazing, fair chance they won't travel much, if at all, because they do not need to leave their home base.

 
And, your best bet to find these women, the best of the best, is no other than TER reviews. But it cannot be just the reviews. You need to message a few who have seen said provider and ask questions. The more time you invest in doing your homework, the less likely you are to be disappointed.

If the fantasy vs reality quotient isn't high enough, I think a different perspective is needed. Most of my experiences have been in the 7/7 range, 40-50%, about 30% higher at 8/8 to 9/9 range. Only 10-15% at best have been 10/10 for me. The rest have all been 6/6 or lower around 20-25%. I consider this a great average, in baseball I'd be batting about 800. Baseball is a fair analogy here becasue even a base hit is as good as a home run for your batting average. 40-50% of my sessions have been base hits, 30% have been doubles and triples, 10-15% home runs, I've only been stricken out 20-25% of the time. But actually some of the "strike outs" weren't the worst either, just lower than 7/7.  

I think someone else mentioned you can have a good amount of fun with a 7/7 session. I've never expected 10/10 sessions, but very surprised when they happen. If your expectation is around a 6/6 regardless of price point, you may find you enjoy the sessions more and repeat the ones that are above. This isn't like buying a car or product that is meant to perform at a certain level every time, there are far too many variables. But in those cases, when you buy a Ferrari and after all the BS that comes with doing so for some reason it isn't as satisfying as you thought it would be even though it is as fast as it was supposed to be. Is reality ever as good as or better than the fantasy, I don't think it's that common, that's why it's a fantasy?

Enough philosophy on 7s and 10s, answer the damn question.  

The only 10s for me are Stella from LA: gorgeous, friendly, functional, and never rushed. But I don't know if she is around anymore.

Some may be offended, some will get it. What if part of the reason reviews are declining is more people are tired of the BS on boards. Yes, what if WE are the problem..!? The subtle bickering, the frustrated comments; only one person answered the question. Even though the question is just 4 words, and the last sentence after 6-7 of complaints. Even the title "tired of settling for less" has no relation to what's your 10/10?  

But I'm not flaming the author here, it's not about this thread or post, this is just a good example. I've ranted, many people rant, the typical internet bully type crap across all forums. People type a few strong tones or words from the safety of their desk. It happens a lot, but what if it's a growing reason why less people bother to review and providers care less and less about them?

Posts here are either a rant, or an open ask on a provider without a link or much to identify the provider. What if that kind of laziness is a reason, a bigger reason than understood for changes in the hobby? Who wants to read a bunch of rants, or try to understand a vague question, without a way to know who their inquiring about? It sounds like lazy frustrated bastards who have nothing better to do than complain, said with pure sarcasm... Is that part of the decline?
