...the posts that now get deleted.  I've NEVER had a post deleted before today.

wonder how long this one will be here before it goes too.

Also, if you go back into the post and edit it, it goes to a review bucket first.

I was wondering the same thing.

I asked a question like this too, and its not been approved.

Is there hush move out there that the members don't know about?

I sort of predicted this would happen, posts and threads getting slashed willy-nilly by Super Moderators who have no connection to a forum and don't have a feel for what's going on (if that's indeed what happened). There also seems to be a phenomenon cropping up that, in hindsight, should have been obvious from the get-go: abuse of the "report this post" button. With it, people can (and have) had entire threads, or entire sections of threads, deleted just because one person hurt their widdle fee-fees. Combine that with lame forum software (unable to delete or suppress one post without removing an entire branch of a thread tree) and Super Moderators who just don't know and don't care, and we have a system that was touted as an improvement instead being ripe for abuse. I haven't had the urge yet to drift into General Discussion to see if this has borne fruit, but if this sort of nonsense is going to pop up anywhere, it'll be in there; the rest of us will simply experience it to a lesser degree.

I didn't go edit it.

I don't want to say too much for fear this thread will go away too, but it was gripe about the board w/o our mods.   I also gave a shout-out to our 3 former mods (which probably was not why it got deleted).  So here's the shout out again :)

BTW, whoever sent me a PM, I'm not VIP at the moment so I can't read it.
