I just don't understand the point though - other than they are shooting the "Cops" show and sex sells, and they need some sensational transsexual busts to get higher ratings.
They appear to be specifically targeting TS's.
All they will do by hitting the internet providers is drive the girls back onto the streets.
I also understand that because of outdated sodomy laws a TS can't even get an escort license to work in a brothel in Nevada - even if there were any that would hire ts for legal work - which there aren't.
Maybe if Las Vegas provided a tiny shred of support for girls to get out of the business, they would have grounds to enforce outdated law. But shame on them for treating girls the way they do, and not offering any way out.

Ask for verifiable references. Don't providers have monthly union meetings where you discuss such things? 
are the cops bothering the girls at the las vegas lounge also or are they just bothering the girl on the internet? also why are they targeting just the tgirls?
yes there are even showing up at the las vegas lounge... i heard of someone who met a guy from the las vegas lounge... he gave her his room number and telephone number.. told her to call him once she finished dancing...
she called him then went to meet him at his hotel and got arrested.....
The problem we have as TS's with screening is most of the new guys we date are first timers. They simply don't have references. Dating a TS isn't something most guys advertise or want known.
And most TS's don't participate in forums like this. I'd be surprised if 100 t-girls annually post comments on TER. They just don't do it.
As for a union, yeah, that's just what we need - more regulation. Heck it's only been 7 years since the first TS "TransUnity" conference was held in LA. As a community TS is in it's infancy.
But it's my hope that mankind will evolve to a point where gender fluidity will no longer be an issue, and where authority will no longe find it necessary to control the actions of consenting adults in private.
But meanwhile I'm pleased to know there are so many people in government and LE who are so interested in who I sleep with that they make it their full time job to stop us and are willing to waste so many tax dollars nationally to keep people who are just trying to survive from enjoying life as we desire and who persecute us for being ourselves.
And yet these same people offer NO solutions or alternatives to the TS community other than jail or suicide. There are very few companies that will hire transsexuals. Some support girls who transition on the job, but virtually none will hire from outside at a living wage.
There has NEVER been a program that would assist TS sex workers to obtain training and meaningful employment at MEDIAN wage (meaning $50-60,000 per year) so they could leave the business if they wanted and actually have a life outside the sex trade. That's why studies show up to 70% of female transsexuals are sex workers - you can't survice workign at MacDonalds, even if they would hire you - when was the last time you saw a TS working a MacD's?
Instead they focus on arresting us and treating us like shit while in custody. The only tie anyone is ever mean to me is in contact with LE or health care providers.
OK, sorry Jamie goes off on her soapbox occasionally - but I think most of you will agree what I say is true.

If my last visit was any indication, no. The only screening I got was "what time".
Immediately after I walked in the door "You know it's $$, right?". I was all but pissing my pants with the openness of it.
Turned out to be not my thing and I don't think I will do it again, but even if I wanted to I don't think I could take the stress.
the girls can screen and the girls can even not mention any money but once you get to the room they will arrest you..
the vice are getting good at what they do... they even know some of the slangs like top, bottom, roses, taking off there socks...even will tell you things like i want to suck your cock....
Notwithstanding the facetious comments by the distinguished Senator from Massachusetts, a few threads below LuvEmLong has suggested the Whitelist as a useful tool. No not that kind of tool, a REFERENCE tool. Geez, do you always look at the world from the POV of the gutter?
Anyway, several others of us, TSAE and myself for example, have previously suggested that there should be more screening taking place to deal with all sorts of safety issues. The GG’s have several fairly well developed processes that generally work pretty well – nothing’s ever perfect.
It would seem that the TS’s need something too, so why not use what TER has already made available? I just think it would be a good way to squeeze some of the nonsense out of meeting with TS’s (okay, how many times I gotta tell you to pick your mind up outta the gutter?).

Just thought I would add a comment that might help others... There is no point in using words like roses and no point in screening anyone, LE has women answering phones pretending to be a secretary at a law office to verify the employment of a potential client, they also have girls who pretend to be referrences or have been forced to help LE to stay out of trouble themselves. They also read this and all other message boards, they read reviews, and write reviews. They are very sophisticated and know exactly what they are doing. They also use info from previous reviews to pose as someone you have seen before and then show up and arrest you. So no matter what you do there is no way to totally avoid LE. Of course this doesn't apply to me since I am not an escort, just a girl who likes traveling and making new friends..... Good luck to everyone. Daisy
