I have been having some discussions offline about performance enhancing drugs related to the thread started by tsmandy below and it has been suggested that I should share my comments with the forum.  If you are tired of or bored with the subject skip this post but otherwise be my guest to read it and add your comments and corrections as usual.

Apparently, the chemicals sildenafil (Viagra/Pfizer), vardenafil (Levitra/Bayer) and tadalafil (Cialis/Eli Lilly) are fairly easy to make.  I understand that they are made in several countries, including China and India.  Certainly much of this manufacture is for the legitimate drug companies named above and subject to all the necessary and appropriate quality controls and regulations.  However some is also for illicit sales.  Obviously the incentives to make and sell these performance enhancing chemicals outside of legal channels are significant.  If you can’t be sure that the pill came from one of these three manufacturers how the heck do you know what you are really consuming and in what dosage?  Some of you have reported varied experiences with these drugs, possibly because you may not have been receiving the advertised chemical in the dosage represented, if at all.

Taking any of these drugs under certain circumstances, such as with other blood pressure medicines, can be fatal which is one good reason why they are prescription drugs and regulated under federal law.  To make things more scary these chemicals are even being found as undisclosed ingredients to increase the effectiveness of “supplements” marketed as such in this country to escape FDA regulation.   [Mr. Holmes take note – who’s to say your “Libido-Max” from Wal-Mart isn’t laced with Viagra to make it more effective.  How stupid was it to make toys with lead paint?  But hey, the lead paint did make the toys look a lot better.  So why not put a little “booster” in those supplements to help their effectiveness and make them sell better too?]

We live in a very strange world where the reputation and integrity of a regulated and/or legitimate drug company is of so little value that we are willing to take a little blue pill provided by somebody we hardly know just to be able to buy it a little cheaper or avoid having to get a prescription.  People just don’t seem to connect the dots that taking “prescription drugs” from unknown sources can be just as dangerous as the more notorious recreational drugs.  If you didn’t obtain one of these drugs under a prescription from a licensed pharmacy are you willing to bet your life on it?

If the risk to your health is not enough, I understand that the same federal law that makes cocaine use illegal also covers other “restricted” drugs dispensed without a prescription, including the little blue pills being discussed here.  Note the difference, the use of a restricted drug without a prescription is a felony and not a misdemeanor (like soliciting).  That's why even retired baseball players get so excited when they are accused of taking steroids, HGH and/or amphetamines.  As usual it’s not about their reputation, it’s about the money.  Proof of use of any of these drugs without a prescription is an indictable offense and the penalties can be quite draconian.  If a ballplayer is convicted of such a crime it could mean serious jail time and possibly the end of their sports careers, i.e. the end of their money machine.  Even professional sports teams don’t like to employ convicted felons.  Can you think of a prosecutor that wouldn’t just love to make an example out of one of these guys, even a retired one, particularly around election time?  [BTW did you know that baseball players have an incidence of attention deficit disorder (ADD) about 20 times that of the general population?  Over 100 players have been granted exemptions for prescription amphetamine use by the Commissioner’s staff for ADD.  Yeah right.]

I am no legal expert but if the local authorities should catch you in flagrante delicto with a visiting or local lovely lady and there are a few little blue pills lying around (or in your bloodstream?) and no prescription you have just raised the ante for the prosecutor significantly.  In their zeal to clean up vice in the neighborhood you will have just handed him or her a very big tool, a felony drug violation, to make their case.  Maybe it won’t be as salacious as prosecuting solicitation but it will be much more effective not to mention punitive.  Under the eyes of the law you have just gone from hapless John to felony druggie and are probably “up shit creek without a paddle” (yeah I know, a very bad pun with all the other recent smelly discussions).

If you are participating in this “hobby” you are clearly taking a variety of risks and not just legal ones.  Just to name a few, you can get physically assaulted by some psycho or petty criminal preying on hobbyists or providers, you can catch anything from a mild to life threatening STD, you can waste your hard earned money on a bad experience.  If you are reading this board and searching for reviews, etc., you are obviously trying to manage or mitigate those risks.  I urge you to use your big head when it comes Vitamin V as well.

Take care out there,

TS Tempted

Cocaine (schedule 2), amphetamines (schedule 2), and anabolic steroids are scheduled narcotics.  I think the feds have extended HGH into the 'anabolic steroid' catagory (schedule 3), but I am not entirely sure of that.  The lower the schedule, the more severe the penalty usually.  The rationale for scheduling is a combination of the range of accepted medical use, addictive properties, and abuse potential.  Drugs like LSD, Ecstasy, and Heroin are schedule 1 since they have no accepted medical use and high abuse potential.  Cocaine and methamphetamines are schedule 2 because they have very limited accepted medical use and high abuse potential.  Drugs like anabolic steroids are schedule 3 because they have medical usage and moderate abuse potential.  Drugs like benzodiazepines such as Xanax and Valium are schedule 4 due to common medical usages and low abuse potential (NOT!)  Erection drugs are unscheduled prescriptions similar to things like Zoloft and cutting edge antacids.  The penalties for having these drugs without a prescription may not even be a felony.  Also it is highly unlikely even if it is a felony that you would be prosecuted.  I've never heard of anyone doing hard time in the pen for 'Felony possession of Viagra'.  State laws may vary from federal laws though.

You also overestimate the integrity of large drug companies.  Many of these 'illicitly manufactured drugs' are made by the same foreign chemical subcontractors that the drug companies employ because the drug companies are trying to cut corners also.  You're often getting the same drug made by the same people just without the patentholder company's logo.

thanks TS Tempted.

This is something that I have thought alot about, especially after a couple of scenes where I felt like I was going to pass out after taking viagra.

Trans girls who are on hormones are already at a higher risk of stroke, so the risks we take, unknowingly often, are much higher than the average population.

I think I will stick with lots of exercise, a healthy diet and plenty of sleep.

this post was very much appreciated,
xoxo

Dear TS Tempted, You are a wise and information filled human being. :)  You are quite intellectual too.

There are many risks in life.  I got rid of one of the worst risks in life IMO.  I moved from where over 90% of Americans live to where perhaps 10% of the rest of us live, in a warm climate.  As I type on my keyboard, I have the air conditioner running in my home. :)  You guys are freezing your buns off and I sit in boxer shorts, naked other wise and running the AC.  South Florida sunshine is a great penis and spirit uplifter. :)

These past few months I am using Walmart's herbal dick pills.  Prior to that I used a brand called Cobra, which sold in a red box at GNC and also available online.  Prior to that I used pills the local Adult Video store sold. I tried some thing called Wild Bull which has tribulus extract.  It gave me severe stomach cramps.  Our local 99 cents store sold Iron Man :), 30 tablets for 99 cents.  I pop one of them for good measure too like taking a daily multi-vite. :)  I just hope what ever is in it, makes Mr Happy, happy. :)

It seems herbal pills work best for me.  All that any of these pills do is open up the blood vessels to your dick and allow blood to flow better.  My experience has been that these companies that make dick pills, tend to come and go.  I find a good dick pill that works, and bam, a few months later I can't find the product any where any more.

Would you believe, I know guys who actually inject their dick with something via a hypodermic needle prior to having sex.  It just goes to show you have valuable and important a hard cock is on human beings who have cocks!!:) (did you hear that Mandy who I love!!!:) ) xoxox JH

GG+S:

Thanks for going into the additional detail about the various schedules of drugs under the Controlled Substances Act.  Looking back on what I wrote I didn’t intend to imply that “abuse” of Viagra would have the same consequences as the abuse of steroids, etc., by the baseball players.  Something like Viagra seems pretty innocuous when compared to heroin or cocaine but my observation of the way things work these days is that we have so many "zero tolerance" laws that it would give prosecutors plenty of ammunition and opportunity to “throw the book at you” if they thought it politically expedient.  All the salacious details of such a case would make great coverage on the local news.  Once you are in the wrong place at the wrong time prosecutors might also be able to implicate you as a participant a scheme of distribution which it is my understanding would again raise the ante with respect to penalties and consequences.

More importantly you also make a good point about the legitimate drug companies cutting corners but when you purchase a drug through approved channels you have plenty of recourse to the suppliers should something go wrong.  That’s not to say they always do the right thing by way of quality control or safety either.   Unscrupulous suppliers have plenty of incentive to try and sell some of these chemicals on the side.  The drug companies also have every reason and the resources to ensure the quality of their products and limit the manufacture of these substances to their own distribution channels.  Maybe the drug you’ve received outside legitimate channels is manufactured by the same supplier to the same standards, then again, maybe not.  The key concern I have is that word “unscrupulous”.  These are the same kind of guys who put lead paint on children’s toys.  Why should they care very much about what is or isn’t in their little blue pills?

Regards,

TS Tempted

I'm assuming that the surgeon did not perform the 'nerve sparing' version of your surgery.  Sorry to hear that.

Caverject is usually injectable, but I think there is a suppository version available.  If that doesn't work, you may be looking at prosthetic enhancemets.  My knowledge in this area is far from exhaustive.

Mainly dopey gay guys who sniff poppers and take PDE5 inhibitors such as viagra, levitra, and cialis.  Sometimes they hit the deck from the sudden drop in blood pressure.  It's potentially fatal.

One of the biggest killers of adult Americans is prescribed drug interactions.  Sometimes the physicians will prescribe these things without taking into account other medicines the patient takes.

If I were you, I would ask the doctor who did your surgery.  I would also do all the researching I could online and gather as much info as I could.  Maybe there is a penile implant or some new technology that can help you.

So, the herbal stuff really works like cialis or v? I thought it was a bunch of crap but will give it a shot.  I don't need the v or c but like to take it if I am going to partake in fun where I have to provide roses.  Let me know what brand you think is the best and where to get it ????  I am in S. Cal but can hit a bookstore or website.

Did you guys miss the point?  I'll quote myself:

"To make things more scary these chemicals [Viagra, et. al.] are even being found as undisclosed ingredients to increase the effectiveness of 'supplements' marketed as such in this country to escape FDA regulation."

Your ‘herbal’ supplements may include much more than you might think.  Supplements are very scary because they do not even have to attempt to live up to the standards of 'drugs' and very little is known about interactions with other medicines (or supplements) you might be taking.

You've heard me say this before somewhere:

"Do your research!"  aka  “Think with your big head”

One of the reasons for the recent ban on over-the-counter cold medicine for children under the age of two (which I expect may be extended to six very soon) is because so many of these medicines contain a cocktail of active ingredients.  A concerned Mom may give her kid something for their cough and something for their runny nose and actually be giving them some of the same drugs but with different brand names.  This could lead to a potentially dangerous overdose of drugs in a small child that at their best are only mildly beneficial in treating cold symptoms.  All this confusion and back-tracking is occuring even for "approved" medicines.

Supplements have even lower standards.  There have been all sorts investigations by the media exposing dangerous consumer fraud with respect to supplements.  Many of these products don’t even contain the ingredients they claim much less in the advertized quantity.  Some may even contain much larger amounts of their ‘active’ ingredients or other undisclosed harmful contaminants.

You may remember the cliché from the old western movies of the snake oil salesmen hitting town in his rickety wagon with his hokey “medicine” show.  These guys haven’t gone away but the modern snake oil salesman has gotten really good at “legitimizing” his products – made all the easier by the internet.  What do you really know about the companies that produce these products?  How do you know you can trust them?

Take care,

TS Tempted

LATSDog, my fellow tranny bangin friend! :) I can tell you from my personal experience, V did not work for me at all and at $10 a pill, that sucks.  I experimented with herbal dick pills and found my cock to be harder, my cum shots more forceful and even hand jobbing myself, felt better. Most all of the herbal dick pills have these two primary herbal ingrediants: yohimbi bark extract and horny goat weed. Plus they have maybe 10 or 20 other minor dick enhancing ingrediants.  I tried a straight up 100% horney goat weed pill and it gave me severe stomach aches.  Researching it online, I found that was a negative side effect of too much horney goat weed.  Below I posted two links.  One for libido-max and the other for Cobra Sexual Energy.  You can search these two and many more "male sexual enhancement" products online.  There are even many reviews of the different mens "dick pills"  IMO, they changed the ingrediants to Cobra, They used to be potent pills and now I think they are more grassy shit that don't work as well.  I currently use the libido-max bought locally at Walmart. A box of 30 soft gels is like $8.  I pop one a day in the morning with my multi-vite.  Especially if I think i am hooking up that day or intend to "choke the chicken" :) ha ha ha  $8 for a 30 day supply of some thing is a lot better than $10 for a V pill, especially since V does not work for me and herbal does.

If i were you, this is what I'd do. Go into your local vitimin store and if it's a male clerk, ask him to lead you to the "dick pill" section and ask his recommendation.  If female clerk, shyly ask for the "male sexual suppliment" section :) ha ha ha.  Do NOT be tempted to buy some $50 package.  I told you the two primary ingrediants of herbal dick pills.  Cheap pills and expensive ones both use the same primary ingrediants. IMO, buy a package that is $20 or less.  Try them.  Pop one a day and see if after a week or longer if they are helping your cock. If yes, stick with it. If no, try another brand.

I also used to drink an 8.3 ounce can of Red Bull. (about $2)  Between the Red Bull and herbal dick pill, I was a fucking machine!!!:) ha ha ha.

Best of luck my fellow tranny banging friend! :)

… but I’ve always found one of those big Vitamin E tablets to be pretty good at stimulating things.  Read this link carefully:

Linus Pauling Institute at Oregon State University
http://lpi.oregonstate.edu/infocenter/vitamins/vitaminE/

You will see that Vitamin E has been found to enhance vasodilation, which is exactly what the little blue bills are designed to do, albeit a little more specifically, hmmmm.

Caffeine is also a vasodilator.  When I was much younger I had a girlfriend that always made sure I drank at least one cup of coffee after dinner.  I didn’t even like coffee back then but I thought she did so, ever trying to be the gentleman, I would always order coffee with dessert when we went out to dinner.  Later on I found that she didn’t really like coffee all that much either but it had been her experience that the perceived effect that it had on me was what she really liked…

;)

As to all your fancy supplements, I’m going to stick to my tried and trues, thank you very much.
