I am sorry if I snapped at you in an earlier post concerning you-know-what. You were at a disadvantage of not knowing anything about me. I trust that if you knew me, you would know that most of the points you brought up had or were being wrestled with in my conscious, and as a consequence, you wouldn't feel the need to bring it to my attention. I just didn't need to hear it again from you or anyone. I'm still, and knowing myself as I do, will continue to be racked with guilt and regret over the posting of my original post, and my subsequent post to you where I snapped.

As I mentioned in a post that has since been deleted, the cruel irony is that my observations have probably harmed a young woman I wanted to protect and professed to care about. I could have never forseen it would go THIS far. I don't know if I'll be able to keep my concerns over a fellow human being under wraps in the future, but I will certainly try to think through the inadvertent consequences that can result. Once again, I posted it out of concern for her and nothing more.
...I'm human, not insentient, and thus obviously fallible, so please allow me room to err on occasion and forgive me for my snap. I'm not an ass, or at least I hope I'm not considered one and it was uncharacteristic for me to go there with you. I'm sorry and I hope you accept my sincere heartfelt apology.

Using history as a guide, I think you'll find that I have kept things friendly with my fellow posters here and have never tried to start anything with anyone; the grammar/punctuation thread I posted upon my arrival eight or nine months ago notwithstanding of course.

As far as killing the thread, the WHOLE thread, I wish you had. It has brought nothing but grief as I simply failed to account for how it might spin off and to what degree. It was my fuck up and I bear all responsibility for it. My apologies to anyone I might have offended, but particularly to Sapphire herself. I just didn't think things through.

Thanks for killing at least part of that thread ... that was never where I intended for it to list toward. Never.

Thank you for the apology. That you chose to make it tells me a lot about your real character.  I appreciate your sincerity. As I posted, I never doubted your good intentions, just the way they were being directed. My intent wasn't to bring you down, but to try to limit the gossip. You were concerned for someone's well being, I was concerned for her reputation.  and now that the threads are being unwoven, both of our concerns can be met.
