There were far more positive comments than the few negative.

I expected far worse.

Some time ago, a fellow hobbyist warned me that visiting a TS provider was problematic because the nonTS providers would shun me forever, if they ever found out. He then told me that there was a strain of real hatred out there towards TS. I shrugged it off, but a recent post on this board, saying that readers of the Transsexual Board should go to the General Discussion Board to add commentary on the General Discussion Board concerning TS. Don't bother. Hopefully, only those venomous haters commented, which leaves 100 million American men free of hostility. It is a sad discussion, indeed. Have TS providers noted any hostility from female providers? Hobbyists?

Who cares. They have there board and thankfully we have ours. In my humble opinion they don't know what they are  missing out on and they have no idea of our world. Our world being open minded, inclusionary, and a journey of self exploration. Maybe its just a bit of Jealousy combined with  ignorance. To each there own. We could write a novel on this subject. Nadia from Atlanta commented best along with Angela Marie

I used to have a friend who used to go down to some strip club in Philly where there was a post op TS dancer there and he used to tell me that other girls who worked there when they were making their rounds advised him about her as if to warning him to stay away from her cuz she was different. My best guess is that is a combination of ignorance, competitiveness and maybe a little jealousy that us gals can have the same attributes and then some. Personally I don't see it as something bad as long as they don't cross a certain line. I rather see it as a compliment that by doing what they do they acknowledge our presence and the fact that not only we are as pretty as them but more sexual if I may say, than them. It's nice on the other hand to reach a certain age where one stops giving a damn what other thinks or try to keep appearances and we do what we want and have the fun we wanna have without caring what others think. Like someone else said here, thank god they have their forum and we have ours :).

I know, but this was fresh and I did not want o add to that long thread . Your post was excellent on this subject. thank you for being so sincere.

Thanks. I was referring to the new post itself just in case they did not realize it was discussed yesterday and the day before.  Everything above makes sense too.

Venomous seems a little harsh.  There were a couple of posters that were jackasses, but most seemed positive.  To tell you the truth, I was expecting much worse when I read it.

For someone that is openly willing to engage in BBFS "for a couple bucks more" as she has stated numerous times on that board, she had some choice words for those that liked to see a TS.

Closet Homo was one of them.  If we were closet homos then why would we be openly going to see TS?  What she doesn't get is that for some people there is no attraction to masculinity, but she's kind of a dunce so any logic goes right over her head.

...because to me, being willing to step into the dialogue, carries the potential of benefit to every single one of us, no matter what the cost, or opinion there otherwise.

The vitriolic sentiment is, or can be, only what we make of it... if some amongst us hadn't spoken up, taken the risks, then none of us  could feel the benefit now of even slowly changing perspectives...

Every single time one of us is willing to step into the breach and be utterly fearlessly willing to confront, discuss, and maybe, just maybe, also *sometimes* seek better understanding through exposure, discussion, openness, kindness in the face of utter meanness, debate & argument....no matter how hardcore it may get)...is worth doing...

Changing perspectives and changing lives is always worth doing, if the intention is real and true good. Open the dialogue, create as many discussions as possible, no matter the cost. the benefit always far outweighs the bullcrap, I think.

WE cross all the lines of gender and orientation and perspectives and sexuality... permanently, effectively, and perfectly.... that is a fact and it is also the very nature of our very special existence. To me, also personally sacred, and that kind of perspective is also worth sharing.

If one out of 10 or 20, even to this day, depending on where you live, has never - not ever once, had knowable contact with *Any* real TS person, MTF or otherwise, then stereotypes and ignorance and rudeness and disrespectfulness can continue to thrive, and the hatred, stupidity, and misunderstanding will most assuredly continue.

Therefore.... dialogue, awareness, and exposure can only be one of the most helpfully good solutions. It can benefit all of us, even here in this forum. Cross the lines. it is the TS persons' very nature to cross all the lines, all the way to the very core of our selves and our existence itself.

Don't bother adding commentary there ? to me, that would be insane not to, once the door had been kicked open by ignorance first, and reason, second or last.

The Dialogue. It will and must continue. We are all sacred and this must be both joyfully and unerringly preserved, and most definitely protected and respected.
