Loveitall54,

Regarding Eros, I totally agree.  Eros recently created a provider rating section which gives paying members the ability to rate providers listed and advertising on Eros.  This new enhancement, in my opinion, was created to improve the credibility of the providers advertising, while at the same time, not damaging thier revenue stream.

If I was CEO of Eros, I think it would be a tough call.  My feeling is that knowing they are the top site for providers gives them the edge needed.  If it was my call, knowing you are the top site out there, would you monitor that and make changes if things start to go south or continue to allow anyone and everone to post advertisements knowing at least 20% of them are fake.  It sucks for us but I bet the owner of Eros does not want to take a 20 to 30% revenue hit for screening the fakies.

I scanned Eros-LA just a few minutes ago, currently there are 95 TS ads and my estimation is that 20 of those ads contain fake pictures.

That sucks but scammers will always find a way to be scammers.

As a reminder, search this board, read reviews, google numbers, and exercise caution on any amazingly hot provider who just pops up out of nowhere with no history.

Good luck to all.

I maybe overly suspicious, but nothing is worse than showing up at a provider's place finding out she is not even remotely like her pictures in the ad.  Suddenly, the fantasy and anticipation of the adventure turns into a nightmare of disappointment -- or worse.

I decided to check out the telephone number (646) 401-4803, currently listed as the contact for TS Tara who is on the current Eros NYC TS listings.  A quick check on Google results in at least 4 other names - TS Vanessa /Sky/Cheyanne/Samantha in addition to TS Tara have used this same contact number over the past year or so.  That wouldn't necessarily be so suspicious if all the photos in the ads were the same and it was simply a provider changing her name unusually frequently -- but all the ads feature provider photos that are different every time.  Now unless in these days of disposable cell phones, these providers are all sharing the same cell phone, this has got to be a phony listing.

What amazes me is that Eros doesn't even bother to do a simple Google search before posting an ad for a provider -- thereby facilitating this nonsense.

On Eros, I've deliberately 1-starred providers that have been proven to be fakers, scammers, or B&S artists (often discovered here, some by my own detective work), in order to send a warning to others to stay away.  Wish I could do more, but given what you've said, I'm not sure that Eros would want to jeopardize its revenue stream by blacklisting scammers (and they'd probably require solid proof, not just the word of a hobbyist who's done a Google and TinEye search).

That's only my opinion but have a feeling its probably a big part of why there are not tighter rules trying to expose the scammers.

I know it's all about the dollars, but you'd think that they'd WANT the kind of good publicity that comes with "rigorously enforcing rules against scammers."  Being known as a safe harbor for providers and clients alike, where one wouldn't have much to fear about being ripped off, could result in a sterling reputation and increased revenue in the long run, in my view.

Speaking of my 1-starring: there's currently one infamous Michigan B&S GG that has two ads on Eros.  She changes her names and her photos often, a sure sign to me of a scammer (if you're on the level, you shouldn't have to keep changing your name and your [fake] photos)... but she's too stupid to change the sales pitch in her ads, which gives her away no matter what names she uses.  I 1-starred both ads, but she seems to have caught on, because she disabled ratings on both of her ads.  Unfortunately, the ratings still show up under the thumbnails on the sidebar, so unless she deletes the ads and creates completely new ones, she's stuck with them. :-D
