I highly recommend using this plug-in for Internet Explorer and Firefox.  While browsing the web (CL, Eros, Cityvibe etc), you just highlight the phone number on the page, right click and choose Search on TER.  The search results page will open up in a new window and voila!  It will automatically strip off any and all symbols used to separate the digits in the phone number.  You can even search by name too!  And the best thing of all, it will include the results as if you set Exclude Bad Websites to No.
