Okay, I'm currently making arrangements to be free that weekend and be available that Sunday so I can try to make the four hour drive. Who else from this forum will be there ?

I have never been to one of these, but I've heard they are fun, as well as a feast for the eyes and imagination.

... I'll probably be hard to spot, but I'll be the one with the seersucker suit, white wingtips, a 10 gallon hat, and I'm told I've got a cool Fred Sanford walk.

I thought they just had this pageant back in mid August. I read on another board that Danielle Foxx had won this pageant.
Is this a different one ?

There was one in August, and yes, Danielle Foxxx did win that one. I don't know what the difference is between the two.

Yes, you are correct, Danielle won the Queen USA Pageant in August.  And as the reigning Queen, she will be representing the Grand 'ol USA in next week's Queen of the Universe pageant.  This pageant has gals flying in from Asia, Hawaii, and parts of the US.  Most will be Californians, but each will represent a country.  It's a little bit  nutty, but a whole lot of fun.

Looking forward to seeing you guys there..
