Go to Google Image search and click the little camera in the window. It wants a picture URL as input. You can cut and paste this, upload it from your own file, or if you work in the Chrome browser, there's even some nice drag and drop functionality.
If you want to refine the search further, you can also add words to the search bar and have a mixed search with the picture and words, using all the standard Google search tricks, e.g. quotes...
I find it much more powerful than tineye in terms of the hits it produces and the mixed search capabilities.

I'm on safari. I don't get the cut n paste option for pictures, I only get copy and when I do that on the image it just gives me the link to that page. Which is the same link as the ad itself
