As a result of a recent bout with little-head thinking, I've had a couple of take-one-for-the-team experiences lately that ended up taking me instead!
The common thread: each time, I've been sucked in by the ad, and ended up thinking, what the hell, what could possibly go wrong?
To hopefully help others avoid making this same mistake, I'd like to post a few answers to this question. Most of these things have happened to me. Please feel free to add your own warnings so that others will learn, as I have, to see only providers that have been well-reviewed here.
1. She could be ugly. Sometimes even great looking providers use fake pictures, but there is no law that requires truth in advertising. Most of the time if a picture in an ad for a transgender provider looks like a genetic girl, the picture is a fake. Of course there are a few exceptions to this, but sticking to reviewed providers will greatly reduce the risk. Once the pic is a fake, chances are it's all downhill from there.
2. She could upsell. This is a pet peeve of mine. I show up with an envelope with the amount mentioned in the ad, and the first words out of her mouth are "Do you have any more for me?". No, I don't. Goodbye.
3. She could smell. Bad. Maybe some guys get off on this, but I think most of us practice good hygiene when visiting a provider, and it shouldn't be too much to ask for them to do it too.
4. She could lie about GFE. One provider here advertises that she "loves to kiss". When I tried to kiss her, she said, "I don't kiss...I got an infection once from kissing". So I guess it's not strictly a lie; she might actually love to kiss. But she doesn't kiss. Bummer.
5. She could lie about functionality. C'mon, when's the last time you saw an ad that DIDN'T claim full-functionality? And yet, if you take the risk of seeing a non-reviewed provider, you run a very high chance of being disappointed by the size, shape, and general flaccidity of the, um, member not in good standing.
6. She could answer the phone during the session. OK, I've read some reviews of guys who were turned on by this, but to me it's as big a turnoff as upselling.
7. She could rip you off, or even worse, mug you, sometimes even with help from the guy hiding in the closet. Never happened to me, but I've read about it and it's my biggest fear in calling an unreviewed provider.
8. She could be a cop. Backpage in particular is notorious for ads from law-enforcement, usually for "visiting" providers with awesome pictures and zero results on TER and Google searches.
9. She could be carrying an STD. Shiver. Of course, so could a reviewed provider, but again you're playing against the odds with an unrated girl.
10. She could just be a terrible provider. Even if she doesn't fail any of the tests above, she might just not be into it for anything but the money, be strung out on drugs, be in a rush to get you out, have too many restrictions, act like an asshole, etc., etc., etc. Reviews warn you about these kinds of things; unreviewed partners are a pure crapshoot.
I'm sure there are more; but please, be careful, and be sure you only see providers that have multiple reviews from reviewers that have reviewed multiple providers.
