I'm planning on visiting a city where my favorite TS provider is in a little over a month.  I'd like to get her a gift.   She has provided her sizes (clothes/shoes) on the web, but I'm not sure that is the way to go.   Maybe a generous tip for the session is better than a gift?  Have any of you done this before?   Providers -- what do you think?   And does it come across as creepy at all?

Over time, special friends have bought me gifts, everything from fresh flowers (always a truly sweet and thoughtful thing to do, in my opinion), as well as some that have also gifted me with some truly awesome clothing and nice lingerie, (gave correct sizes, so none of it ever needed to be returned).... and as well, one of my very favorite pairs of 6 inch peep toe black patent stilleto heels, that, amazingly, actually fit like a dream from the first day they were given to me.... : )

 
That same person also had specially monogrammed backseam garter stockings with my name embroidered on them once... and i thought that was just awesome !  : )

 
Have been given small jewelry gifts, a couple of nice travel bags, and other small gifts as well as some excellent wines and Sake that i loved, and kept one of the bottles for a years as a decoration in my home because it meant a lot, and it was beautiful as well.

 
My take on gifts is, at least to me, always a kind and sometimes very thoughtful thing, especially if you have a good connection with one of us...  

 
...and of course, an additional gift of cash is *Always* at the top of the list as just being a sign of respect and generosity that can be used for anything we would want or need it for.

 
So far, i have never had any gift experience that i thought was the least bit creepy at all. Even had an admirer once actually send me a nice bracelet of Svarovksi crystals set in platinum, months before we ever even met. About as classy as it gets.

 
So... i just think its downright cool when a gentleman thinks beyond the zipper and goes that extra mile to show respect and appreciation and affection.

I like receiving gifts from clients. My personal favorite is gift cards.  They are budget friendly and I can buy what I like. I would personally ask the provider what some of her favorite stores are and buy her a gift card from one of them.

i second the sweet sentiments of The Angela Girl
would just add that if a hobbyist has a question as to what a provider might desire, many of us have wish lists on Amazon (my Twitter profile has link to mine for example
not saying you would necessarily order from it since the gift wouldn't be in hand with you when you arrive, but it could give you a good idea of what gifts a girl desires.

quick gift story that i'll never forget. i had a newbie client who was very gung ho about seeing me and wanted to arrive with new shoes and stockings as a hello present. on morning of appointment he got cold feet and canceled, but he was so sorry that he made special trip & dropped off the presents at my door step anyways
