CBS News, San Francisco is reporting the first ever confirmed case of a cured AIDS patient.
He was an AIDS patient who also had leukemia. He received a bone marrow transplant to treat the leukemia and got a transplant from a donor who was naturally immune to HIV. Apparently natural immunity exitsts in approximately one percent of people.
