70+ ads on eros.com and it seems sometimes you can count the ones reasonably priced ($250 to $300) service-oriented and without toys in the attic on one hand.

Yep,  I think there is a reason the Los Angeles eros ads have dropped from averaging 120+ ads to the low 70's.

LA eros.com ad counts rivaled NYC at one time, but no longer, though I'm not sure how that relates to the abundance of scammers?

Do you think eros lost credibility with potential customers due to an increase in scammers and high priced/awful service goldiggers advertising there, driving out the genuine providers who decided to advertise elsewhere?

Yes Sir.  If you review my past posts, I said time and time again that their "brand" was going down the drain.  If you look at their ads, yep, the same number of fakies still seems to be about the same percentage but the real ads seem less.  The total ads per category (obviously focusing on the TS sections) is down, way down.  Why, because the cost to post an ad there is the highest in the industry and the real providers get to compete with the same crowds of scammers posting on the BP for 90 percent less cost.  Why pay top dollar when your results from lower costs media provides the same level of return?  Thus, the reason for the drop, they leave.
