I'm 100% with her, however they didn't say whether she has the letter or not from a doctor/ physician to change the sex on ID. My doctor gave me one for DMV and they changed it right away!
If you read California DMV's charter, it clearly states that DMV is a "Revenue gathering agency". i.e.: "Take the money and run, while giving crappy customer service. I'm not surprised people go off there, whatever the reason/frustration...
