Are deposits more prevalent now?

So I have reached out to the few TS girls in my area on TER and ts4rent, and almost all on TS4RENT are asking for deposits.   Is this common practice now?   I am VIP on TER for cisgender but have not been able to make it happen…frustrating

Haven't experienced that and I for one will never give a deposit. Just say no plenty out there . I know a couple guys that where ripped off after a deposit . And there are also many flakes the girls deal with as well bad apple's on both sides . It's all part of the business. But never give a deposit both parties have risk in a first time meeting .

For the most part NO! Providers whether genetic or trans who are legitimate will NOT ask for a deposit.

The two types of providers who get away with it are:

The Scammers - whether new to the business or washed up they're in your town for a day or it's the last day and need a deposit becasue they want to make sure your legit they can fit you in their busy schedule. The same are the want to be scammers who hear of their friend doing well scamming and try it themselves. I would say there are more scammers out there these days since there are so many shady sites.

Legit Top Providers - the legitimate top of the line providers, some times on a first visit or for longer engagements. They want to make sure you're not going to waste their time. They often have a higher price point and are tired of clients showing up with less than what they talked about, so they give them a quickly so they're not totally screwed, lol. I would say at most 3-5% of all providers ask for a deposit.

Agencies/Brothels - since most trans girls in the states work independently, there are some agencies in other countries that ask for a deposit. But it's not just over the phone it's often at a club you go to. The deposits or fees go up, so much to see the bottom and middle of the line girls, more money to see the upper girls and more to see the top of the line. Then you pay more for who you pick.

Personally I would only send a deposit if I multiple reviews that said it's the only way that provider operates. They were a top provider with 20+ above average reviews and zero references to ripping clients off.

It depends on who you are giving a deposit to, personally I don’t get many flakes but a couple of my friends do and that’s the reason why they ask for a deposit. Sometimes we don’t book another person waiting on that other guy who’s supposed to be there at the time agreed, then we get no call no show when we could’ve seen someone else that was serious and really wanted to come. Do your homework and if is a legit and well reviewed girl I don’t think there should be any issues with anyone sending a deposit for your first date with that provider :)

I recently paid a pretty hefty deposit for a meeting with one of the top TS’s in my area. I paid it because she had plenty of reviews and was very cool on the phone. Glad I did, because we ended up having a great time. It was our first time together and I doubt it’ll be our last. All in all, most girls don’t ask for deposits. I wouldn’t personally trust it unless she’s top of the line with great reviews. That’s just my personal experience recently.

I've only paid a deposit twice in my life - was ripped off and ghosted both times. Never ever again. Plenty of legit providers don't require it and there frankly is no reason to pay it.

Depends on the provider if they are a know quantity and have a good reputation then a deposit should not be an issue since they have a livelihood to protect.

If they are not know or have some bad reviews or no reviews i would pass.

I had a girl that asked for $20 to hold spot.. i told her that she was new to business and would not commit even for that amount, she asked why and i told her she has no reputation risk and could just blow out and start again, but if she had few pages of reviews i would do it because for $20 why would she soil her rep.. she understood my reasoning and we did have the date no deposit this was 5 yrs ago and we still see each other.... so it depends on situation on deposit its not a yes or no.

Just like anything else, if there is no review on the provider and the pics look TGTBT and they ask for a deposit first, chances are you are sending $50 or more to Mohammed in either Africa or a foreign location.  They are can also get your IP address.  If you ask for the location where they are staying, they can pick a hotel in a short distance from you.  I speak from experience, happened one time and one time only.

I've seen a small amount of providers that have no reviews, and have never actually been asked for a deposit.  Maybe it's just me, but I would say NO to a deposit request.
