I wrote a positive review about a sexy Asian TSI saw while in Baltimore; it was first listed as "unapproved" because of a "bad website." She had moved on to another part of the country and her eros ad changed. I resubmitted the ad with the new city on eros, and it was still disapproved because the provider had been "delisted". I know some girls have their reviews pulled, but this sounded different. When I asked, I received this response: "Delisted means she has been banned from TER and is no longer reviewable." My question: what the hell could she have done to be banned from TER? I had a good time. The next day I received a message that my VIP membership will expire in 9 days. It advised my to buy more days or write more reviews. LOL.
For example, a provider can contact TER and ask to be delisted, which keeps her from having any reviews here. She could also have gotten crossways with the staff over some issue, or been harassing other members, or any number of things. TER is very closemouthed about why delisting occurs, and they don't tell you in advance who is delisted and who isn't. It's their right to do so, but it can be a little frustrating to discover it when you've put in the effort to write a review.
Before seeing her, I read her reviews. Her first three reviews were horrible and the next three were great. Two of the first three reviews were written by people who had only one or two reviews. I attributed that to jealous TS's in the area. The other person had almost all negative reviews of everyone even people I had seen and been happy with. My experience was like the three good reviews. I don't blame her for being pissed about the bad reviews. We should do more to scrutinize bad reviews by a one time unknown reviewer. If she delisted herself, I understand her reasons. However, the answer I received stated quite clearly that she was delisted and banned from TER.
You probably won't ever get more than that, although emailing her directly to get her side of the story might give some results. I've seen a banning happen because of something a provider said on another message board -- yes, it was an inappropriate comment, but I still think banning was an overreaction.
However, I am not running the business for TER, and the site seems to be managing to do OK under their system. They certainly don't have to run it the way I would, and nobody's holding a gun to my head to make me post here.
What really annoys and frustrates me is that you have no indication beforehand. You make the date, you pay your money, and most importantly spend time writing a review. And TER gives you no credit for it. As you said: "it can be a little frustrating to discover it when you've put in the effort to write a review." I would just change the "little" in your quote to "very". I am surprised that no one is wondering who this girl is. And yes, maybe I should give her a call and ask about it.
