Hey everybody...
Jessica and I went to Court today.
The State of California and a Court Order says we are officially GIRLS!
Though really what we are is chicks with dicks and no balls! But in CA under the law it's the same thing! Though we are among the first to put this law to the test. I was expecting an expensive appeal but they just processed it right through with no hassel at all.

That sounds nice. Georgia requires a note certifying that you've had SRS to change your gender on your license.
I got mine changed by showing them my M license and telling them they made a mistake. While they were taking forever to correct it in the computer I was so sure that they were secretly contacting the cops to arrest me for trying to lie. I kept a poker face but my knees were shaking

To answer Melissa's question. This was separate from the drivers license. In CA you can get your license changed with just a doctors certification that you are on hormones or identify as female. It's done at the DMV. We did ours years ago.
What we did yesterday was actually go to court. In CA you do not need to have full sex change surgery to legally change your gender - you have to have "irreversible - gender related" surgery. An orchiectomy qualifies, boob implants apparently don't. Though I heard of a girl who got her's with just a letter from her Endocrinologist that she was on horomones. I think it's very Judge dependent.
Once we had the official Court Order we went to Social Security which changed the gender to F with no problem.
Our next step is to send the documents to the birth certificate offices which in CA issues a new certificate with the correct gender. This has to be done within 30 days for some reason.
Our passports already say F - mine they just changed and when Jessica applied for her first one I guess they just looked at the photo.
It's been a 3 year road.
