To the OP - believe it or not sweetie, not every guys wants to hang out with a girl who's younger than their children.

While a 30-something young guy probably wants to date someone their own age - or one who's barely legal.  Other gentlemen, who are often in their 40's, 50's and 60's themselves have reached a point in life where it's not "just" sex they are seeking from a provider.

They want a comfortable place they can relax, with a friend who understands their needs. Someone who isn't in a rush to churn them out the door and a companion who truly enjoys the experience of being a man's courtesan - and who can carry on a conversation beyond the level of "Papi give me money."

But there is someone for everyone, so if someone doesn't fit your idea of the perfect partner there are many options.

As for when is it time to "give it up and get a real job?"  Speaking for myself, I retired about a year ago.  But I don't plan to ever "quit" - when I'm 80 I'll be getting a cut of the old boys social security checks in the rest home.  "If you ride my train you gotta buy a ticket..."  LOL

I've made and lost a couple of small fortunes in my life, so never say never, I may still end up back on Craigslist doing car dates.  (Ummm, actually that sounds kinda fun...)  :-)

What do we do to make a living now?  Jessica is finishing college.  I run our real estate investment company and buy foreclosures.  And I just started flight school to get my pilots license.  It is my hope in the next couple of years to open a business where I can employ other girls who want out of the business.  I have plans to create a foundation to financially support trans-rights issues.

I can afford to date who I want, when I want. I don't date to pay the rent, but because I truly enjoy it.  Money was never really the driving issue for Jessica and I anyway.

I know other girls who have become nurses, hairstylists, cosmeticians, and other traditional girl jobs.  Who have found a BF or mate and are living traditional lives.

But you guys should remember.  We are among the exceptions to the rule.  50% of all TS women die by age 30.  Either from violence, drugs, medical issues or suicide.  Escorting causes many girls to have "issues" that dog them for years.  Many girls have or develop drug or alcohol problems. Many will die in the gutter.  Just something for you gents to think about when you are discussing girls like pieces of meat to be used and discarded.

Hugs,
TS Jamie :-)

I've noticed on eros in NYC there are alot of older escorts. What is the deal with that? I know some guys might be into that but I'm not one of them. When is it time for an escort to give it up and get a real job? What do they do to make a living after their quality years are behind them? Hope I don't sound too cruel.

More girls are advertising more now because the economy is in the shitter and they need to expose themselves more to get more calls.  And there is not one cookie cutter flavor of anything that appeals to all so I do not see why they can't advertise like all the rest.  As for what they do after they are retired from this job, you better ask them, but again, its not so black and white. I know some who are hair stylists, some have built up their websites with returning customers paying a monthly fee to view, etc.

Well let me tell ya Pilgrim, some of us "older" folks like a little maturity in our providers, because they appreciate the business, there are several girls that have come out of retirement because as the dog says, the need more exposure to get those dwindling dollars. If they are to old for you, dont call em. Simple huh! Over and out!

It ticks me off that someone who accesses this board has a problem with older providers or anyone that deviates from the norm.  I assume you would take offense with someone who would criticize (on a great many levels) someone who would see a TS.  Criticism of any genre of provider shouldn't come from people on this board.  Older providers are often superior than their younger rivals on many levels which I do not have to go into and if you are 40+, it is easier to relate to them.  JK044, take a step back and apologize for being insensitive and biased (I'm glad you did not pick on an ethnic group).

Few of us traverse life via the same roads. Quality, as in beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. Be they GG's or TS women, if they have taken care of themselves and there is a demand for their services, why shouldn't they get their piece of the pie, particularly in these tough economic times? They fill a niche. ...You could possibly be depriving yourself of a terrific time if you continue to limit the "productivity" of women escorts to some subjective 20 something shelf life. Beautiful older women have an allure about them too. May I contact you in some 20, 30, or 40 years, and inquire as to why you are still doing some of the same things you did in your early 20s?

well the way i see it, this is america. if they wish to work all i can say is go for it, if they dont look like what im looking for i just go to the next ad. im sure thats what we all do,
i think you should be a little more understanding,
live and let live,

Everyone have different tastes, thats for sure.  I always thought I would think young 20 something GG's are HOT. I look at them now and I feel like they are babies.  Maybe babies spreading their legs but the older I get, I tend to up the age of what I am attracted to.  I have always liked someone a few years younger or my age and even a few years older if they take good care of themselves.  To me, its all about how a person feels about themself, how they carry themself, etc.  Since we are on TER, and rating scales exist, I'd take a 6 or 7 with confidence vs a 9 or 10 with issues and low self esteem.  That is such a turn off.

But my feeling about why there are more ads on Eros now is because the old traditional ways are not as productive due to the economy and providers are searching for new customers.

If you're not into them....don't call them.  But don't set yourself up as the judge and jury as to what others enjoy or who we play with.

If the lady is too old....pay her and leave...or be a man....turn out the lights or blow out the candles, and learn to enjoy a provider who possibly can teach you something about this hobby.

....for determining the perfect age of a man's companion is to divide your age in half and add seven. As I've gotten older, I've found this to be true. I'm 52, and women in their early to mid 30's now hold the most appeal for me.

...even when the TER hobbyists are polled about the top TS providers, MOST are 30+ years old...I've only been in this industry 2 years, and I have a full time successful career outside of this, so by choice, I am not a high volume rush them out the door type of companion, and my paramours appreciate that and "cum" back for my skills as a lover repeatedly...I look at myself as a classic luxury car that not many can afford, but many desire...experience is a great teacher...anybody can get a 2008 Corolla, but not every can get a 1974 Bentley in mint condition...dfk, Rachel
