No worries, search is weird sometimes.  If you go straight to ajareins’ post from a search the link looks like this:

Weird huh?  I always try to remember to click on another post in the thread and then return to the one I want to reference.  My browser then displays the shorter version of the link which makes it easier to copy.

Csbc obviously accessed the link by searching through the pages manually without the search engine.  How do I know?  Here's his link:

It ends in page=22 which means that he accessed that page directly.  The MessageID “27441” is the unique identifier for that message which how I can be pretty sure this is the one he was intending to reference in the first place.

The problems with Csbc's link were a missing "i" in "discussion" and the out of place "s" in "viewmsg".  Did he type that whole thing?  It's a lot easier if you just copy the link...

It also doesn't hurt to check your links after you post your message.  I know that can't be done until approved my LEL or myself if you are still being moderated but we don't always check other peoples links to see if they are working so it would be good to check when your message gets approved.
