Hello gentlemen. I've noticed that being "face-in" aka blurring your face in ads, is extremely uncommon for trans escorts, and I'm one of very few TS providers who blurs their face. This hasn't been an issue for me, and all of my clients compliment my looks when we meet, but I wonder if it's alarming to potential clients since it's so uncommon to not be face out as a TS escort.

TBH with all of the filters TS girls use to lure clients in, it might as well be blurred lol.  I think the body pics has to overly compensate for the potential surprise that may lurk behind the door in this case.  Positive reviews along the lines of "she's cute" or "she has a beautiful face" can definitely curb a potential client's apprehension., if no reviews then good luck.  

That's very true haha. Even face out trans providers look much different in person than they do in their ads, so it's a gamble either way. Reviews really are the best way to get an idea of what you're getting into.

Most trans providers are face-out. I think it matters more with trans providers. As others have said there is already a lot of photo editing going on plus trans women can be at different stages of their transition journey. However there are two very well reviewed providers in my area that are face-in. It helps that they have reviews and a reputation. It is harder but not impossible.

I honestly don’t care if your face is blurred. I care more about you having reviews. In this case, lack of them. Reviews will tell me if your face is a concern or not. But what worries me more is if you’re legit and provide good service. Hiring an escort and getting it right is like walking through a minefield these days. I need assurances.

I started out charging 250 and it made no difference in volume, so I raised my rates over time. A few of my clients even told me that my low rates deterred them and made me seem like a potential OF or deposit scammer. I’m happy you know some Asian TS providers who charge less and provide what you consider to be great service. Treat them well.

A lot of cis providers don't show face because of other career/family prospects. Many trans providers don't have the same concerns historically but that is changing. I know quite a few girls who are professionals outside of sex work and use sex work as a side hustle. The more this goes on the more you'll see the blurring happen. But I wouldn't bank on a sudden change.

Go get some of your clients to lesve reviews.  

I've seen many fine ladies who have the perhaps less-than-ideal perfectly feminine face and have had a great time with many of them.  And I don't recall ever seeing a face less-than-attractive enough such that it tainted the experience all that much.
In fact, a San Jose local favorite arguably has a less than perfect face.  Most of her ads show old pictures and I imagine some guys get turned off when they see her face has grown a bit older, but she has my favorite things: she's tall, she's busty, she's hung, and she knows how to fuck.

I, for one, got quite frustrated trying to get into ts4rent's review system.
I went through their arcane process of "You have to contact the provider with OUR messaging system before posting a review" and the two (or maybe it was three) times I followed along the review was rejected anyway, so I just gave up.
I presume that getting to see the reviews there is a matter of paying for membership, and I have no inclination to do that - I'd rather save the fees for the ladies!  
And most of the ladies I've contacted via ts4rent's mail system just replied with a "Just call or text me."
I hardly ever bother logging on to ts4rent anymore, though I shop there regularly.

The first review I ever posted on ts4rent was back in May 2019.  It was always very easy to do so.  Any information about the ts4rent review process being difficult or arcane might be a little dated.

But I still think I'm going to prefer the TER ecosystem.

I think for many/most clientele would need some way to verify what you actually look like. Especially with the every growing number of scammers out there. Hiding your face in your advertisements but stating you can be verified by a simple quick facetime or video type chat would clear up the majorly of hesitations it may cause to begin with.
