Are hormones necessary to maintain being a soft beautiful feminine girl with a real sweet pretty voice?  What might happen if she quit.
I couldn't care less myself,  I love her.  But what might concern her.

Hey Sailil,

Glad to hear you are in love with someone (although I am crushed that it's not me!!!)  :(
  lol

As to your question... first off, everyone is different.  The genitics that you are born with have a lot to do with how people turn out.  Some people are naturally smaller, or have a higher voice, have better skin, or whatever.

All that being said, IMHO, I do think hormones are necessary to help keep a girls skin soft, helps with the body fat distabution (curves in all the right places), and makes whatever body hair someone has more finer and softer (arms, legs, underarms)and therefore easier to shave.  It also makes the hair on your head fuller and thicker most people will say.   The AMOUNT of hormones that people take is up to the individual.  Some take lots, others take only enough to get by so they can still be funtional, but still, I know other girls that either don't take hormones or will stop them for awhile.  Take her to a doctor to disscuss her options.  There ARE risks with hormones.... blood clots, liver damage, etc.

As far as changing the voice, unless someone starts hormones before their voice changes in puberty, there is not much hormones do with the voice.  People can train their voice to be a bit higher, or use more feminine tones and inflextions but hormones by themselves will not raise the pitch of your voice after your voice has changed.

Good luck.
