Wwhat both of you say is true, however I urge you to carry on.  I have lived in the NYC metro area which as you can imagine provides many many opportunities.  However, I have also lived in Indianapolis and Kansas City so things could be worse.  My suggestion is to try Backstreet a club in Midtown.
