Area Around Diva's

As for hotels, I guess it depends on what you mean by "good," and what you mean by "inexpensive." Hotel prices in The City have skyrocketed in the last few years, but if you want to pay a minimum of $150/night, or if you don't mind a little decrepit in your hotels, there are places nearby to Diva's.

As for the area around Diva's, I have never felt threatened walking there, even late into the night. You still should keep your urban-wits about you, but I've never felt threatened.

As for walking vs. driving, I prefer the walking. You can even stop and chat with the girls if you want, and driving in The City is a pain. Even more so is parking in The City.

Disclaimer -- it's been a couple of years since I was in that area, so take it with that grain of salt.

I have never been to SF, was thinking about visiting SF b4 I move out CA in about a month.  I have been checking out the Forum and looks like Divas Nightclub is a must visit when in SF.
Also want to check out the street action in SF, the info I got is walk around the Block around Divas, I have a few question.
Anyone know of a good inexpensive Hotel/Motel to stay in SF?
How safe is the walk around Divas at night?
Is it better to drive around Divas or walk?

Thank you
