State AG (ie, attorney general; the AG sets the tone for general state policies, epecially on controversial issues) just affirmed Massachusetts strong support of abortion rights. A lot of states have this. In the same statement she declares strong backing of gender-affirming care. Very few states have this, and fewer have the state AG speaking out so clearly in support of it. She goes on to say “Right wing anti science extremists will not stop until abortion is banned in all 50 states and LGBTQ people, starting with youth, are pushed to the shadows……we will make sure Massachusetts remains a beacon of justice”.  

I could never understand how the right wing wants to push away LGBTQ people, typically a vital creative group who always seem to generate the happening restaurant/art gallery/theater  part of town. Not even to mention how anyone thinks they can dictate someones personal life choices. Its as if they were taught one thing at age 10 and unwaveringly believe it till they’re 100.
