A few months ago, I received text and phone threats. Ignored the texts and told them politely to go away when I spoke to them. They went away quietly. Just another scam.

Yes, ignore them, just another kind of scam. I have a different phone I use for the hobby, before that I often used burner numbers, but not always. I've had several scams via text and phone calls. All of them threatening physical harm if I don't pay, they will expose me if I don't pay and so on. I usually responded telling them I sent their number to the local police and FBI, I never heard back from them again. I also didn't even send their numbers to anyone...

I received blackmail and deaththreats after i contacted a gal in SD and didnt care for her demeanor on text. I instantly realized i wasnt going to see this person after her attitude and i was very polite.  

Later that evening i get a message from "Jose", stating he represents the "trans" and that im hurting business. Told me "this is how its gonna go" and told me i was going to esend about a grand to him to make it right.  

I use a burner app, thankfully, so i told him to fuck off. "JOSE" didnt like that and said they were going to be waiting for me and my family.  

Gotta watch out which gals you contact. I think TOFTT right now isnt the best idea.

Tried to make an appointment with a gal in Los Angeles named Coco
 Hot black ts, looked hung.  

Wanted to deposit. I said no thanks
 
She got kinda pissed. Started calling names.  

I hit block. No drama for me.  

About an hour later i get another number threatening me.  

Be careful out there.

Using a second phone that's a pre-paid set up is a good solution to others gaining your personal info. If they called you back on that phone go and get a new number for it. There's many burner apps now that you can get a different number to use with you phone. Often the first number is free then you have to pay for additional numbers. While there may be a way for a very tech savvy scammer to gain your real name, associated with your phone account, in most cases if someone calls you back. Burn the number and get a new one...
