I saw a very lovely young lady recently.  On the phone she sounded great, but at one point while we were chatting, I expressed my concern over the number of fakes I'd run into lately.

She didn't miss a beat, but said: "Ring me when you're in the lobby and I'll come down.  If you like what you see (and I did) come over and pretend you're a friend taking me to dinner.  If not, I'll probably continue out the door and get some dinner anyway"

I found that to be really refreshing, that she'd allow a "preview" so to speak and we ended up getting dinner, a few drinks and had a really good time.

For the other special ladies here, have you or would you do something similar if a guy was a little nervous?  I know you couldn't do it often because of the visibility issue, but once in a while?

For me anyway, it made it that much better knowing that if she'd do that, she's probably for real.
