I posted this message below but thought I'd repeat it as its own thread just to be perfectly clear:

I am very happy to have the board entertain alternate points of view on the subject and to discuss what may or may not be an appropriate form/frequency/conduct of/for provider participation. In the spirit of our debate I would hope that no one would take offense at views respectfully stated but the issue of whether provider participation is welcome or not isn't really up for a vote. The ladies may participate as often as they like, so long as TER, TSS or I do not interpret their posts to be ads more frequently than once a week. It's that simple.
I would also be pleased to hear from anyone via PM that thinks someone is out of line and flagrantly or excessively promoting themselves with pointless or off-topic posts. It isn't easy to watch each and every post nor is it always easy to make the call when someone's post is an "ad" rather than the usual back and forth banter.
The providers who post frequently make great discussion points and I love to read their posts. This board would get really boring if we did not have provider participation.
...and quite telling of the mindset some hobbyists have concerning TS providers, when we should be seen and not heard...we are human beings and we must not "keep our place"...I read some posts and am amazed what is written(let alone thought, how do some hit the submit button after reading what they've written?)...I am so glad that many find my rate too much for them to bare, because when my agency screens or a gentleman is honest enough to give his TER handle(and he is found to be less than kind in here) or tell of other providers who I KNOW play less than "safe" as a reference...they are politely turned away...I am a sincere and down to earth HUMAN BEING who is quite passionate about what I LOVE to do and I APPRECIATE and am very flattered when a hobbyist chooses to spend his hard earned money with me and I TRY to give him a beautiful experience(barring any "glass ceiling he's created" for himself), second to none(let's face it, he has many ladies to choose from)...I really enjoy my quality time wth a gent and if he is able to stay afterwards to cuddle and for some pillow talk, I hope we get to be mentally intimate as well and I hope he can appreciate my LIFE perspectives as much as I can his, but from what has been written in here and the sometimes cruel tones some posts possess...it is obvious how some only see us as dehumanized sexual machines and "GFE" really means nothing...dfk,Rachel
